I never really thought of what we discuss on here to be nerdy. But yeah, I guess obsessing over 3 movies so much is a bit out there. It's not like we are like this with every movie though. Star Wars is more than just movies though.

What's irritating me the most about this thread is that it's pointless outside of the "HEY LOOK AT ME! I POSTED SOMETHING!" aspect.

I don't follow you? I didn't initially make this thread as an attempt to get a rise out of people, but it turned out that way and now I am just playing along with it because it is kind of funny.

I wonder how many times Greedo is going to shoot Han before Han shoots back in this version? I wonder if George Lucas will have Greedo shoot twice before Han shoots just to rub it in a little bit more.

Maybe he'll have Greedo shoot and miss, then Han says "you missed." Then Greedo shoots again and Han says "you missed again". Greedo shoots a third time and Han says, "I'm gonna have to shoot you if you don't stop" and then Greedo gets up and walks away.  

In the 2004 DVD one of the good changes they did was changing the text on the tractor beam display from English to reportedly called "Aurebesh," the native text of the Empire? I was wondering, with the text, did the team that made Star Wars really invent a whole language, or did they just make up text symbols? Same with other languages like the one spoken by Greedo, Nien Numb (the co-pilot to Lando), and Jabba the Hutt. Were those languages really made up or did they just use a bunch of random words that had no correlation to an invented language?

I'm not going to buy this blu-ray set. It looks like they haven't fixed the colors at all according to that trailer, I doubt they will even bother to fix the "green lightsaber" in ANH. Will it still be legal for me to own a  copy of Adywan's ROTJ Revisited and PT Revisited if I don't own this set (since he is going to use this set as the masters for his next edits.)

Is there any news on these?

Howdy Porkins. I loved the name Porkins, could it have been anymore fitting? If there was such a word as fatist, that would describe it perfectly.

I had an idea like this that I think I mentioned on here before, but I'll probably never get at it.
