The top signs your a diehard PT fan
Time
Well, I really think it was intended as a joke. I'm not a diehard PT fan, and I have nothing real against them besides the fact they're not as good as the OT, and the influence they've had on the OT, but I'm going to take this anyway.

1. You loved Jake Lloyd in Phantom Menace No
2. You think that George Lucas planned the entire backstory in the 70's, so you blame all the plotholes on the OT. No
3. Your least favorite Star Wars movie is Star Wars. No
4. You hope that Yoda goes cgi in the next version of Empire and Jedi Hell no
5. You hope Palpatine and Yoda appear in the next version of Star Wars Please no
6. You'd love to have Duel of the Fates added to all the OT lightsaber fights Good song, but no... getting as overused as the Imperial March
7. The Padme/Anakin romance scenes did not make you laugh and the dialogue in those scenes was perfect. I didn't laugh, and I don't think it's too terribly bad, actually. Teenagers are just sappy like that.
8. You LOVE seeing Hayden at the end of Jedi Vomits
9. You think the PT would have existed even if the OT had never been made No, because the idea wouldn't have existed without the OT.
10. You think that all three prequels will stand the test of time and be even more popular 20 years after their releases than the OT films were. I hope not.
11. Jar Jar Binks did not bother you that much. In fact, you secretely like him. I really don't mind him too much in TPM, but I think it's good that his role became more diminished later on, as he really wouldn't have fit.
12. You think Dex's diner is way cooler than the Mos Eisley Cantina I don't really have any feelings towards Dex's diner
13. You wish Vader had a new love interest in the OT Hah! Might have been amusing.
14. The OT films look like they were made 50 years ago to you With those hairstyles?! Where're Wally and the Beav when you need 'em?
15. You don't understand half the stuff that happens in Phantom Menace but you love it anyway I understand it, and I can enjoy it.

Do you know who has a vintage OOT
Time
I think that was his "original" intention, but that he changed it. I just remembered the interview with Lucas on the special edition DVDs, where he said that he had wanted to redo Star Wars for its 20th anniversary, but he had such a good time doing it that he decided to go ahead and redo the rest of the trilogy as well. It's Lucas, so take it with a grain of salt, but maybe he hadn't made that decision in 1995. Either way, it looks like ESB and ROTJ fit into the category of movies we're not going to get.

To be honest, I don't watch too much of Adult Swim anymore beyond Family Guy and Futurama. I've never been a fan of InuYasha, but I'd never curse Rumiko Takahashi because I am a huge fan of Ranma 1/2.

EDIT: And I'm sorry about your bad day, ric. Care to talk about it?

You know you’re an O-OT fan when............
Time
If I'm referring to the prequels, I call him Obi-Wan, but I call him Ben if I'm referring to the originals, because I learned how to talk Star Wars in the Luke Skywalker Academy of Speech. Actually, I've always found it rather jarring when Luke calls him Obi-Wan in Return of the Jedi. It just didn't seem representative of their relationship. Only the old people called him that! Does anybody else feel that way?

Emperors Head Slugs????
Time
Well, maybe it'll help you find them if you know that we're not talking about actual slugs. In the close-up shots of him on his thone, look for a different shade of black blob near the left (your left), I believe side of his hood. I myself can't do the screen capturing thing on this computer, so maybe someone else can help you with that.

And the fact that 666 might not necessarily be taken literally in the first place.

True, and I agree. But it seems that the majority of the followers of the Bible want to take all parts of it literally.

Well, actually, I just meant that the book of Revelation was written in code, so it shouldn't be taken literally. That's not a blanket statement for the entire Bible.

What Star Wars has meant to you
Time
For me, it's always given me that childhood hope that there is something spectacular waiting around the corner, some amazing destiny that can sweep me up like it did with Luke. There are surprises everywhere, from Luke looking up into the twin setting suns of Tatooine, lamenting and yearning, to becoming a hero, to discovering a world of honor and mystical power he never knew existed, to finding out that strange little creature was a Jedi master and more wise and powerful than he could have ever thought. To grow, even in the face of the most horrible, from being a boy to being a man and confronting his destiny and learning what's really important. I've heard the old adage that everybody feels like they're Luke, but they wish they were Han, but, hey, I'd have no problem at all being Luke except for missing out on Leia in the end.
