I've been here nearly a year, and I think I've only seen him appear a few times. Stuff of legends. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I think he's currently addicted to World of Warcraft.

While I've never been a fan of first person shooters, Perfect Dark did captivate my interest back in the day. Never bought it, but my friends and I rented it a lot. Of course, I'm not a fan of X-Box, so this means little to me.

I only agree with you on televised sports simply because of my own personal taste (I'm not a big sports fan). I think American Idol pretty much symbolizes all that is wrong with television today: not an overabundance of sex and violence, like some would have us believe, but a lack of imaginative storytelling, preferring to have low cost, rolling off the assembly line reality shows and competitions to pander to the lowest common denominator of audience. And I was always a game show fan myself as well, but they were cool as a niche, but now that they've fused with reality shows and taken over most of new programming, I'm livid.

Yeah, Florence from The Jefferson's was, but it was cancelled pretty quickly, and she returned to her home show. I don't think J.J. ever did as he ended up being the de facto star of Good Times.

Yeah, that almost happened to me with Goblet of Fire. I came home for Spring Break, and my mom had gotten the barebones widescreen for my birthday. If I hadn't already held a friend's copy of the 2-disc set and realized that the coloring looked different on this one and didn't have the cardboard cover, I would have opened it not knowing any better.
