I actually worked with the VFX guy who did the work for his edit and he personally gave me permission to incorporate it into my Clean cut edit. So for those interested in what Ivan was doing , feel free to check out my edit… I think you’ll like it (shameless plug)

Shame about Vader’s gloves though… 😕

I agree it looks great for the most part - some shots look really weird but it’s a fun piece! I plan of editing it into a version of ANH for sure!

(just a shame Vader has the wrong gloves on. So much work done and such a simple detail overlooked… sucks, but it’s still pretty awesome to see the new shots and choreography)

I like it but i have a little disappointment, because they didn’t do a color grading in the first scene and the escape scene to match the new fight scene ,but i understand why he didn’t do that. I felt sad in this part too 2:01.

2:01 is a shot i could live without. With a little editing (which i plan to do), I think this can be much better! 😃

That’s exactly who i was talking about earlier in the thread - that dude has some cool stuff, but never released anything, right?? This project shows a lot of promise in the same realm. Looking forward to seeing more!

I’d love to see some VFX shots redone - I remember there was a guy on devientart who was remaking every FX shot and they were really cool, but it’s been years and I’ve yet to see an actual edit from him - so i’d love to check this out as it progresses.

These are great! I’m working on incorporating these into a ROTJ edit right now 😃 post more!

ForceGhostRecon did something for me that I really needed to make my edit feel complete. He let me use the Green Lightsaber footage! Seriously, how amazing is that!

I want to send out links to my updated cut. There’s more going on than just the color of the lightsaber that I did. but that alone would have made me want to send you all out links, so keep an eye on your inbox if you have PM’d in the past for a copy of this cut.

There is a scene-by-scene color-corrected version of Solo called “the Bold One” - very good regrade to use as a base for your edit - it’s worth looking into! check the screenshots here:

I assume that means de-saturating the blue hue - it looked like a blacklight was on during that scene.

What’s up with these people selling Revisited copies on ebay and other websites acting like they are selling the “custom cover art”?? It’s actually the cover art I designed personally (downloaded from my deviantart page) for the fans to enjoy, NOT for people to be profiting off of… shame shame.
