I was just really interested in a good theatrical cut of The Phantom Menace in HD. I've seen Adywan's but his is not perfect.
Why? It's a terrible movie.
What? How? Why?
We're not some secret cult.

I liked vimeo, why did you switch? This new site made me watch a full 30 sec commercial.

What client do you use? Broken files really shouldn't happen in torrents.
Also, are you 100% sure you downloaded it entirely? In torrents you can download like 5% of the movie, and then be able to watch it. That would explain messed up checksum.
Why so paranoid, guys? You got it from verified source.

It's the size of everything, including .nfo and subtitles... :)

File size different but the MD5 matches?
What are the odds?
Next to none.
My file is 17,8 in properties and 18,7 on details tab. Windows FTW.

Harmy is nerd royalty as far as I'm concerned
That's the best one so far.
Harmy, include checksums in .nfo next time. ;)
If Lucas wanted us to absolutely never ever see OOT, he wouldn't have allowed the GOUT. He just wants the masses to think, that SE are the only ones available in HD. 90% of so called "SW fans" don't even know there is a forum called "originaltrilogy.com", and that there are people so talented, they could actually make original Star Wars happen again.
Until few month ago I didn't even know "special editions" existed. I watched SW like 500 times when I was a kid, old VHS P&S tapes (it was OOT), but somehow not in the last 15 years or so, except for maybe 10 min pieces when it was on TV. Then I decided to watch it again. Slapstick droids. WTF. I googled "star wars theatrical edition" and ended up here...

As an English speaking person - which is the best audio track to view this with?
All of them are cool, but if you simply want to watch a movie, 5.1 should be your choice.
Is it possible to remove all the other audio tracks too somehow without losing any quality to reduce the file size?
Thanks.

On that note, the proper thread has been given a proper update by the forum's mod, Moth3r. It's beautiful now.
I like this part:
Ignore anything TV's Frink says.

Okay so is there an alternative to the madness of JDownloader this time?
Jdownloader 2 beta.
What's this talk of MegaUpload? Does JD have to be used with that as well? I'll do it again of course if I have to, but it's a pain in the ass.
You can always download 92 parts manually.
Okay, paused my download. It's most likely a broken file, Harmy needs to upload new one. Happens sometimes.
No rush guys, download links are up for impatient ones.

Wow, that's pricy for VHS.
It's all in here:

About Spanish dubs - 1980s latino dub was made excatly in 1980 for Mexican TV. You can also check if Castilian one is from 1977, to be sure. Salvador Nájar was the voice for Luke.

The only material to compare is this. :| ESB, Vader's voiced by different guy, so you only have a few words from Luke.
@bttfbrasilfan
Was Brasilian dubbing from original VHS, or TV recording?
We totally should preserve it.
Portugese dub is 1980 Brasilian VHS? I found info that there are two versions, but no info about dates.

Are you putting audio descriptions in track names, or just the text file?
Also, you can add info on which subs are verified, and which are not.
