I just read that Ralph Macchio is now 50.
Now that makes me feel very very old!

CNN- The “X-Men: First Class” sequel won’t bow until July 2014, but speculating about it is bound to be easier now that producer Bryan Singer has shared the flick’s title with fans.
The James McAvoy- and Michael Fassbender-starrer will be called “X-Men: Days of Future Past.” The title comes from the ‘80s comic of the same name and is set in a dystopian future (which should be familiar to “Hunger Games” star Jennifer Lawrence, who plays Mystique in the franchise.)
“There will be elements that will be similar to the original ‘Days of Future Past,’ but there will also be some original elements,” Singer told CNN. “I can't really say more about it. I will only say that it's a very ambitious project and it definitely widens out the X-Men universe.”
Singer confirmed that Matthew Vaughn will return to the director’s chair, but there’s still no word if anyone from “The Last Stand” will show up in the film. (According to Entertainment Weekly, the original comic features Kitty Pryde, the character played by Ellen Page in the 2006 movie.)
“It's at script stage, so it's coming along good,” Singer said. “It's going to be cool.”
"Car Wash"
Classic midnight movie style comedy with a heart.
"The Night Strangler"
One of the best t.v. movies ever made.
I would like to put out a request that someone make a fan edit of this 70’s classic that would add all the Television Network added bits, but keeps all the “R” ratted stuff. I want a version that also includes the bickering couple running the hot dog stand next to the Car Wash. This was cut out of the DVD version and T.V. showings as well.
This great film need some respect.

No, he never went.
Carrie Fisher went though, even though she had no scenes. She just wanted to hang out.
She had heard there was lots of white powder there...

"Supergirl" (International Cut)
Not as bad as "Superman" 3 or 4, but still way too tame to be taken seriously. The actors looked like they had fun with it.
The British Secret Service proved it was a fake / Hoax back in 1971 guys!
'Diamonds Are Forever,' 'Goldeneye,' and 'Octopussy' Wal-Mart Exclusives
3 classic Bond titles are going to be released for the first time on Blu-Ray as separate single disk versions exclusively at Wal-mart.
Now it also looks like 'Diamonds are Forever,' 'Goldeneye,' and 'Octopussy' will be available at Wal-Mart on October 2.
The suggested list price for the boxed set is $299.99 and the individual Blu-rays are $19.99.
The complete series of films (on Blu-Ray) up to and including QoS, is to be released as a 22 title set called "Bond 50". This set will be released on September 25, 2012
This seemed the best place to post this news...

I thought Batman was a scientist.
No, Batman is a dancer!
Batman would promote the upgrading of the technology of Gotham's infrastructure and police force equipment (contracted out to Wayne Enterprises), then turn it over to the wrong people only then to have to destroy most of Gotham's new infrastructure to save the people. In doing so, The batman would re-gain popularity around re-election time to secure another term . Then in this next term, he can do it all over again, and secure more lucrative re-construction contracts for Wayne Enterprises. Sounds like a true political machine to me.

Not all those hospitalized were kids. If I were in that hospital I would MUCH rather see normal old Christian Bale. If he dressed up like Batman it would kind of trivialize it and might seem kind of degrading.
Just had memories of when the squad members of Reno 911 would make traumatizing hospital visits.
Star Trek: The Next Generation 25th Anniversary Event
Shown on the big screen at participating theaters.
Opens today July 23, 2012 (150) | Runtime:2 hr 30 min
They will be showing two restored episodes: "Where No One Has Gone Before" and "Datalore."' Also included are interviews with the cast and crew, and a look at the restoration of the show's first season.
Saw the IMAX version, and I liked it very much. I felt that the Catwoman character was very similar to the Amanda thief character from The Highlander T.V. series. I would have liked to have had Bane's prison seem a bit more remote. I liked the Blake story line. Someone who was truly inspired by not only Batman, but by the Wane family ethics. Best film that I have seen in the theaters in a very long time.
Also, I saw a poster in the theater that says the new James Bond film "Skyfall", will be released in IMAX. I will be seeing that on the big screen for sure.
