Again and again...has to happen. Angel's favourite food must be pork sandwiches,

Not a chance :P http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TLnWlLTqu4Y

My fav food is spaghetti lol.

Besides the fun. Im hoping for some more inside shots of star destroyer crew or rebels to shoot the cannons.

But not with the too CGI way of ROTS ;)

I based it off of the Star Wars Trilogy Sega Pinball back-glass.

I don't care what Ady does. ANH:R just proves he is a master of his craft.

Of course George Lucas was a one trick pony with Star Wars.

Special Editions be damned, we still wouldn't be able to enjoy Ady's work without the existence of Lucas. I get why people bash him, but I don't see how we can take away ALL the credit.

Besides, I liked THX-1138 and American Graffiti... not as much as the OT, but still.

I loved THX-1138 and American Graffiti.

Well, it is a trilogy! Sure, Lucas didn't direct ESB, but he still had a heavy hand in making the movie. I'd say ANH and ESB back-to-back doesn't necessarily make him a one-trick pony.

And ROTJ has its moments, as does the PT. I completely understand why people bash the PT, but it DOES have its moments... otherwise why would a lot of us own them or at least know them so well?

If something gets under your skin you become very familiar with it. I will be honest. The Phantom Menace was a good movie to me (jar jar and midichlorians aside) it was worthy of the OT. But ATOC and ROTS just really kicked me in the death stars. I felt as if the films weren't made for the fans anymore. It is like when you find this new un-famous band and you love them for years and then they get a big fat check and an MTV deal and decide to do something completely contrary to what you loved them for. I don't think an artist should go with the mainstream flow, instead an artist should carve their own path and stay on it. I don't mean they can't explore, but they should at least leave some bread crumbs. I would have loved the PT as much as the OT if they helped each other. Instead the PT is some parasite that has attached itself to the Star Wars name. I don't like bashing GL because hell, he is a genius in my eyes. I just think he went with the flow and forgot to leave bread crumbs. It actually seems more like he deliberately didn't leave bread crumbs.

sorry for the usage of the word bread crumb LOL

So is Lucas going to learn from his mistakes and film the live action show actually on film?

If it was actually shot on film had minimal cgi, good character writing and scripts i would watch it.  Especially if it tried to emulate the style of the true star wars trilogy and not that shitty add on series.

I will watch the pilot and if it isn't up to my standards I will not get worked up. Of course several TV shows have shitty pilots. I just don't believe in Lucas anymore.

Sounds wise. I think the chances of him making something worthy of the name "Star Wars" is nil. I mean, the recent cartoon was watchable, but Star Wars it was not. Nor was there much in way of emotional depth. It was tolerable mainly because it wasn't meant to be much and therefore you hold it to a less high standard than a live action film.

I've seen this live action show compared to Firefly and Battlestar Galactica and Deadwood and Sopranos and I think that's pretentious striking poses, because no way do I think they can come out with something like that. So the show will be pretentious as WELL as dumb.

After the prequels he kinda proved that he can't really do a decent movie little less a Live Action show. Maybe he will hop off of the horse he is on and give us OT fans a real good treat. Maybe not. I am not going to expect it to be good. Maybe I should have it in my mind that it is going to suck so if it is good I will think it is really good.

My then-girlfriend made this out of a pumpkin a couple weeks after we started dated.  Of course I married her.

It is really good. Most people would have done a face to face view. It captures yoda really well. You are a lucky man to have a girl that likes star wars. My ex hated star wars so I made her believe that I also hated star wars. That didn't last long LOL.

I do a lot of Star Wars art and I thought to myself "We need a thread for flat-out artwork!"

Now I know there is the DVD cover thread and the Hi-rez poster art thread, but this is for Photoshop, Paint, Ink, Pencil, Charcoal, Macaroni?, the list goes on. So start posting.

Here is something I did that took me 2 days. 1 day to find the pictures and the rest to position everything and trim and layer mask. My eyes are blood-shot from doing this.

fuck the prequels editions.

I never thought of these edits in quite that way, but now I might have to use that as the name of the project - it's just too perfect!

The prequels would take some miracle to ever be as good as the OT. I was happier when it was just the original pre 97 trilogy. I wore out my VHS tapes. From Star Wars to Jedi won't even play any more LOL.

Story for Maxim magazine - NEED YOUR HELP!
Time

Nobody really talks about fan edits but fan's of a number of films from as far back as the 70's have made changes. But as anyone on here would tell you The Phantom Edit was the first widespread fan edit. Now you can find a fan edit of any movie that has been successful. But I just know the gist of it. Apparently my fellow members know a whole lot more than me. When this magazine is out I am gonna get it. I need to know more LOL
