Let me explain to you.

Blu Ray does not look as great as everybody says they do. The big difference is how much blu ray holds i think like 2 or 3 times what a dvd can hold.

Their are many fan edits presented in hd for instance Darth Editious and Adaywans look better than the 2004 dvds.

The Original Unaltered Trilogy well lets just say we are all working on it. Ive tried my best to make the OT look better but dayamn I need the full anamorphic masters to do a good version. all i have is laserdisc and pan and scan.

The prequels are in standard dvd format so they look as good as a dvd can look. About High Def and or Blu Ray releases NOT YET. thank george lucas for the hold back on the releases. When GL releases SW on blu ray. Blu Ray will probably be obsolete so we will have to wait until their released on Red Ray.

Does anyone have hi res version of these and a real good return of the jedi duel pic. CANT FIND ANY GOODINS ONLINE

PLEASE GOD SOMEONE REMOVE THE CGI MAX REEBO BAND AND REPLACE IT WITH THE PUPPETS FROM THE OUT. that makes me cringe every time i see it. and leave out jar jar and hayden christiansen I WILL BE TRULLY HAPPY. I could live with hayden in it but jar has to go and please put the old celebration song the new one is just ODD. Vaders saber is a little to pink and solid for me so anyone can make it better looking. overall adywan and dart editious can do NO WRONG.

I’ve decided to make a documentary of OUR attempts to bring order to the galaxy (THE ORIGINAL UNALTERED TRILOGY) I don’t know if it has been done or even thought of but, it would be great if we could all film or record ourselves talking about how the trilogy was.How George lucas was the genius of awesomeness BEFORE THE DARK TIMES BEFORE THE SPECIAL EDITION. we could talk about the how we try to give the trilogy the awe we felt in the past. Then we could talk about things that have been done to make the trilogy flow better. A documentary of THE TRIALS OF A FAN EDITOR (a better name is needed) I find that our story is a grand story. AND IT WILL NOT BE RELEASED FOR COMMERCIAL USE BUT FOR FREE. of course we could vote to do it. I won’t unless many of you are willing to help out on this. really all i need is people to sit on a chair, couch or anywhere and talk about star wars. I plan on

1. telling the story of the release of star wars

2. the releases of the home vhs and laserdisc.

then the dark times

3. 1997 special editions

even darker times

4. 2004 and 2006 dvd releases.

Just leave imput and we can all decide whether or not to make this puppy. Plus think of names make artwork anything help out. any footage will help.

ok just uploaded this baby on flickr. whole thing untouched its only 300dpi but thats damn good if you can photoshop it. The dots arent as visible anymore thanks to jonno's advice but 300 dpi was the highest quality my scanner could do. AND ITS NOT A JPEG ITS A PNG.

{EDIT} I tried but anything bigger than what is on here already is spotted and comic book like. Sadly because I use a 50 dolla scanner and photoshop cs3 couldnt fix em LUKE ended up looking bad when i smoothed everyone out.

My parents bought return of the jedi 2 years after the first two.

Ive got all three and I too am making dvds based off those. Sorry their a little old and torn but ill post em soon for you to get a basic idea of what to do.

Well I havent gotten too far as of now. I am still working on it. Thanks to project 64 accessibility they have made it alot easier than I thought. But retexturing is a long process. I have to know exactly were these textures are going. But it should look better. It is a shame that the only good rom editing programs only work with mario 64 and zelda.

I prefered the PC version myself. I am just gonna leave the PC remake to JediSpy. I won't fool with the original PC version because very few newer PCs will play it seeing as it is very specific to what graphics card you are using wich sucks seeing as you would think a good graphics card would play anything. I will just mess with the PJ64 rom for the masses and then quit when jedispy's Jedi Academy mod is done. He is following the book precisely and adding the original game into it too. It's looking really good now. PLUS THEY ARE USING THE JOEL MCNEELY SOUNDTRACK

Thanks everybody for the imput. The retexture pack is a quick update for the game. coz Jedi Spy's SOTE jedi academy mod won't be out for  a long time.

I am planning on making a retexture pack for the project64 rom. I will include textures from Jedi Academy and smoothe out the already used textures and re skin Dash

Does anybody have a high resolution version of this image. I am working on an project for it. Also tell me about the fun times you all had with SOTE. to me SOTE is probably the best thing to happen to star wars since the beginning. EPIC GAME
