Seeing as Vader wears a mask in the OT, Maul has tattoos in TPM and Grievous is a mostly robotic cyborg in ROTS you could in a rebub call them all Darth Vader to cover Anakin's real identity up until ESB but it all falls down to the duel with Obi-Wan again.

It's THE major stumbling block to preserving the mystery (far more than the "former pupil of mine" line in ANH)

And so it shall be!!!! This film should be fairly easy, since it is small scale of course. Great mockups and it really looks like a parody of ANH:R

That said, I want Vader on the Death star along with his kid and mentor, not floating around a construction site.

Most of the people on here will agree that ROTJ is the weakest film of the trilogy. Any changes would be embraced more than brushed off.

I love the idea of the petition.  I at least feel like I'm doing something to get the theatrical version of the OOT in a quality release. 

And that is exactly what the petition is about!!!

To further your statement, it is better to ask George and really get the message across, than sitting in a computer chair, doing nothing, and saying it will never happen.

I've worked out how I am going to do the colour correction.

I am going to make Spaceball 1 look cold and dead (Most reds will be present but toned down a bit.)

Other shots will have a harsh pass of colour removal (then I am going to add semi-transparent layers to the film to get back colour I need) Which will be rotoscoped according to the needs of the scene/frame.

Druidia will be the hardest fix of the whole film. It is going to take some major work.

The planets will need a big fix. I don't really want to do a new planet but the image below is probably going to force me too. Of course colour correction will probably save it (I love the humor in it), but that car is going to be white again!!!

Ok I decided to give it a shot and fixed it. I will do more to it later but right now I like it better.

APE apparently has better compression, but FLAC is definitely more widely used and better supported. You probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference in sound quality, since they're both lossless formats.

Great work!!! I shall be starting on the initial colour correction soon. I may release the colour corrected version by itself for people who would like to see it in better colour.

I will be using slight sharpening to the film on my version.

The sabers are getting a slight make over in both versions, and the ships engine glows will be fixed in both versions. 

Angel great work. Most of those look like things I should be able to do.

Speaking of Rainbow, it would be funny if the sabers changed colours throughout the fight.

I would keep the original colors.  Changing them to match the Star Wars movies just seems to take away part of the parody aspect, at least for me.

I am thinking of changing the cores to white though. I could just enhance. One thing about the sabers in Spaceballs is the fact that they surprisingly stay the same shape (Don't quote me on that).

So, as far as Schwartz saber colour

Do people think they need to be changed or kept the same colour?
