Mad Max Blu Ray release!!!

I pray that the studio goes light on the DNR for this one...

I hope they do. I really hope they remastered the soundtrack as well. Always thought it had a tin can sound to it.

Oh, and I noticed that when TheDigitalBits first ran the story for this release, the info they posted (taken directly from the press release) claimed that this would be the first time the original Australian audio track would be available in the US, despite the fact that the R1 SE DVD I've had for years definitely has the original Australian audio.

Yeah, I have been watching it with the original Australian audio for as long as I know.

Speaking of which, the specs you listed seem to indicate that the American dub will be the default audio on this release.  I hope that's not the case ...

It would be silly. After the success of Road Warrior and Thunderdome, people should be used to an Australian Mel Gibson movie by now. I would like to hear the American track, because I haven't, but I don't want it as the main track.

Family Guy Star Wars Trilogy?
Time

I found Blue Harvest to be good, but really Family Guy is scraping the bottom of their joke barrel. Blue Harvest poked fun at Star Wars, not near as well as Robot Chicken has, but it still provided decent humor on the subject.

Something Something Something Dark Side (SSSDS) seemed to be just a reason to put FG characters in ESB. It never even attempted to poke fun at star wars, and honestly, the jokes that would have been funny, have been made stale by repetition on the show.

I honestly think the best writing ended when the show was canceled by fox years ago. Reviving a show like that is like bringing a long-dead corpse back to life to win a beauty contest. Somebody might enjoy it, but aside from watching it to avoid paid-programing, the show lost my interest after the 3rd 15 minute chicken fight.

In the end, if you are going to watch one, watch Blue Harvest. SSSDS is something that might make you laugh, but I dunno. Take your chance with it.

I didn't think Ady was using photoshop. I was assuming there was an equivalent of photoshop but for moving images but that the basic image editing principles were the same.

Well, AE is pretty much a moving photoshop, but it takes a lot more work than a simple photoshop comp.
