The Legend of Zelda
Time

I still hope to beat Zelda II: Adventures of Link.

Probably the hardest game I've ever attempted.

My list of best Zelda's probably goes. Thought 1 and 2 are interchangeable

1.Ocarina of Time

2. Majora's Mask

3. Twilight Princess

4. The Legend of Zelda (The first I played, not that I'm old)

5. Windwaker

6. Adventures of Link

7. A Link To The Past

8. Skyward Sword (though fighting the imprisoned 4 times made kind of hate it, would've been top five without that)

Harmy's kept my sanity and patience for these restorations. If I start getting the Star Wars shakes, I break out Harmy's despecialized.

If all fails and we never get a release, we still have so many hard working people doing great things with what they have. The thing I like about this project is the legitimacy. Sure, we've seen some great projects come and go over the years, but most of those projects, we never got to really see any results. Just a couple of screenshots to get the fans drooling, and the poster would disappear. Mike and NegativeOne are giving us more than a few screenshots, we are getting to actually see the process. The fact that there are a few star wars film scans happening as I am typing, makes me very optimistic about the future of Star Wars.

The fact that fans have to do it, makes me a little sad, but you appreciate something you work for.

Shit, I missed the live show.

Mike, I watched your video on grain and how you pull out details with Beelzebub. Great watch. It seems like I remember this project, but avoided it, because I was immature and was still in the "Mine mine mine" phase of my life.

I think what you are doing is great, and if you can get it to the suits, it will be of those great moments when you get to show your hard work for all the world to see. Disney is a company that appreciates restoration, I just don't know if they are more the type that prefers doing it themselves, or the type that just likes to see it done. Most companies would like all their films to be flawless prints that last forever, so I think there is a chance Disney would be supportive. That's just the child in me talking.

I also love your Wampa skin rug.

Star Wars Prequels 35mm 4K Filmized Editions by Emanswfan (a WIP)

I really liked it, and like TServo said, it was like watching the OT whenever Obi Wan was in frame.

Is there any way to make Yoda sound less deep. I understand as a person gets older, their voice deepens, but younger Yoda and OT Yoda should have the exact same voice. I don't know how you could pull it off, but raising the pitch about 5-10 % and taking some of the bass out of it would make him sound like he dropped right out of ESB or ROTJ.

Besides "The films need to be the way I want them," has Lucas stated anything as to why the Blu-rays became the travesty that they are?

As far as what happened with 1313, ex members of Lucasarts were interviewed in one of the latest issues of Gameinformer, and basically said that LucasArts were taken over by movie people who had no understanding of how game development works, and would give them ridiculous tasks with barely any time to work on them. It's easier to whip something up for film than it is for video games, because bugs ruin a good game.

They would literally get started on a game, and would cancel it halfway through development, and this happened several times. I've got the magazine somewhere, I'll see if I can find it.

EyeShotFirst, I'm wondering if your brother-in-law noticed anything weird about Qui-Gon's lack of last words, as well as whether he noticed anything about the podrace music (especially tracked music from ANH) that prompted him to ask if these things were changed.

He isn't really familiar with Star Wars. Episode 1 was the only film he'd seen, but it was back in 99, so he most likely forgot most of everything.

He, like me, remembered Darth Maul being a badass, and Jar Jar being annoying, but he didn't notice anything different.

I pointed things out, like toning down the politics, Jar Jar not being as annoying. I also pointed out Anakin being a heroic pilot, instead of a dumb kid getting himself into a battle.

Star Wars Episode I: Cloak Of Deception (Released)

It really is, but I will never introduce anybody to Star Wars without starting with the original trilogy.

The numbering is really the only thing that bothers me, but that's an OCD problem. I still think they shouldn't have numbered them, and you just watched in the order of when they came out.

The PT works (yes, I said it works, don't shoot) because it's connected to the original trilogy. I feel you get more out of the PT if you watch the OT first.

Numbering them just makes the OCD people snap. I get a twitch in my eye thinking:

(1977) Episode IV

(1980) Episode V

(1983) Episode VI

(1999) Episode I

(2002) Episode II

(2005) Episode III

I've never been diagnosed with any kind of mental or chemical imbalance, but the ordering drives me up the wall.

High Planes Drifter 8/10

As much as I love Clint's western years, I can't watch that film. First 10 minutes were good, and then he rapes some woman. While one could argue she had it coming, being rude, it's still rape.

I find that characters in fiction frequently do not act morally.

Never mind "she had it coming" which...oh wow man....wow.

Yeeees, I'm gonna hope those words were ill chosen (Or a bad joke). Anyway, quite a few years since I've seen HPD but isn't...

*SPOILER BELOW!*

...Clint's character literally the devil in that movie? Doesn't seem like behaviour that would be out of character for Lucifer.

Yeah, that wasn't the best way to put it.

Harmy's STAR WARS Despecialized Edition HD - V2.7 - MKV (Released)
Time

Been showing my brother in law Star Wars for the first time. His introduction wouldn't have been as great without you Harmy. We're gonna finish up the trilogy tomorrow with ROTJ.

He had only ever seen Episode 1, which is odd, because he's older than me, so I would've expected him to have been familiar with the films long before the prequels.
