Am I the only one who liked Chewie getting his medal?

Does anyone have access to a version of the AotC deleted scene “Anakin and Padme on trial” without the subtitles?
Do you have the Blu-ray?
Digital Copy. Is it Blu-Ray exclusive?

I just had a thought - if you’ve already got a good 3d model of the Tantive IV, maybe you can finish the CG for the alternate opening of the Last Jedi.
I’ve had this theory for a while - that Luke’s portrayal in the Last Jedi was meant to represent the fanbase (bitter after learning the Jedi’s history and being incredibly disappointed), and that part of the reason this portrayal was so poorly received was because The Force Awakens had already come out and restored a lot of people’s hope in the series.
So here’s a possibility - what if the Force Awakens opened with Luke meeting Rey on Ach-To. He refuses the call, and we add in some of his dialogue from later about how optimism is dumb and the Jedi are overrated; but then when he asks “where’s Han?” Rey launches into a flashback and we see the rest of the movie that way, and at the end he decides to train her for real. The Last Jedi plays out about the same but with the Ach-To Island scenes drastically reduced (because all the important ones already happened).
Basically, if done right, this cut could make the trilogy more appealing to hardcore OT fans while leaving the story untouched. Does it sound doable?
Cut out the originals and have the prequels bleed directly into the sequels. Yoda dies in his fight with Palpatine. Padme’s children also die. Obi-Wan goes to Ach-To instead of Tatooine and becomes Mark Hamill instead of Alec Guinness. Han is just the guy who knocked up Shmi and whom Kylo RAnakin found out about off-screen. Snoke is Palpatine but Palpatine is also Palpatine. Leia seems important but is never explained.
Nobody asked but I changed Finn’s name in the end credits to “Finn Dameron.”

Yoda and luke helps rey…next, obi wan and anakin
I think the effects are great, however it didn’t quite work for me because instantly recognized the footage from ESB and TLJ.
You could use a deleted scene from TLJ for Luke.
Anybody wanna try persuading John Boyega and Oscar Isaac to film themselves kissing in costume so we can add it to the Rise of Skywalker?
Maybe someone could isolate the Nightsister magic sound effects from The Clone Wars and add it to some Exegol moments to convey the feeling that a mysterious power is at work.
Dang it, I wish the Star Wars Soundboard flash game were still up, I’m pretty sure they had some of those sounds.

Here’s my attempt at changing the tint of Exegol (from blue to green) without changing the color of the lightning. I still have no idea how to handle the lightsabers, but this is a start.
I like the execution of Ben surviving in this version, but what would happen next?
The movie carries on as it did. After the main trio hugs at the celebration, instead of cutting to Tatooine, it cuts to Red Five flying towards the Ahch-To island. Rey walks up the Jedi Steps and into a hut. There she builds her new lightsaber and ignites it. She walks to the same place where she found Luke in TFA. Rey sees Ben watching the Binary Sunset. The ghosts of Luke, Leia, and Anakin watch as Rey and Ben stand together. THE END.
I like this version, but I just had another (probably slightly easier) idea: since the trilogy is filled with instances of Rey and Ben looking at each other across impossibly long distances, what if you take the normal ending with Rey on Tatooine, and add a few composite shots of Ben looking off the cliff from TFA to make it seem like they’re looking at each other?
I hadn’t thought about it that way, but that kind of ties in to why I think they chose to replace the Rey Nobody twist with Rey Palpatine: Star Wars movies historically can’t think of much to do with major characters unless they have supposedly predestined paths.
Anakin was destined to destroy the sith? He becomes one!
Luke was foreseen to become a sith? He destroys them!
Rey has no major blood relations or prophesied fate? Uuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhh… nvm yes she does.
Also, another problem I just realized with the finale is that the pacing in the current cut makes it look like Finn and Jannah were just standing there for 10 minutes: they line up the turret, then Rey and Ben team up, then Palpatine heals himself, then Wexley dies, then Lando shows up, then Palpatine electrocutes the resistance fleet, then Rey hears the voices of Jedi past, then Palpatine dies, THEN Finn actually shoots the command deck. Ideas as to how we can re-order some of this?

Okay then, here’s my very rushed Red Exegol as a test. It’s a start I guess?

Makes me realize how accustomed I’ve gotten to seeing blue-tinted scenes because, even though they’re equally saturated, the red looks way more (as Sheev would say) unnatural.
Someone has probably already done this, but I added Duel of the Fates to the Death Star duel, along with some other music from TPM at the end.

Because youtube blocked it immediately.
I would really love to find a way to include reference to a more large-scale stormtrooper uprising, like what happened in the Trevorrow version. But all I can think of now is 1-minute deleted scene from the Last Jedi (a stormtrooper recognizes Finn in an elevator, Finn says “please don’t do this,” and the stormtrooper makes up a cover story, allowing Finn to get away), a 30-second deleted scene from the Force Awakens (where Finn, still in full stormtrooper armor, lets a random civilian go) and possibly repurposing the line “all over the galaxy” from the end of the movie. It would be really hard to make fit but I still think it might be worth it.
Or, failing that, I’d maybe want to find a way to add in the stun-blaster effect (from ANH and TLJ) when they shoot the stormtroopers during the Star Destroyer rescue mission because… seriously… the stormtroopers were all kidnapped and brainwashed as children, and yet the heroes kill SO MANY OF THEM without a second thought. I mean, I know it’s an action movie but SERIOUSLY. They create characters like Finn and Jannah just to show that stormtroopers are people and yet they still treat them as cannon fodder. I can’t be the only one that finds that really uncomfortable, but I haven’t heard anyone else talking about it.
If one were to cut the Rey Palpatine reveal, would there be a way to cut the whole Star Destroyer rescue mission along with it?
I’m interested in replacing the “Nobody” twist in TLJ with the Palpatine twist, so that I can make a cut of TROS where Rey knows from the beginning. Does anyone know if/how I could adjust the audio of Kylo’s “You are a Palpatine” line so that it doesn’t sound like he’s talking through the mask? Or, would it be better to use a line from the audiobook?
