To make certain the look of the sets and props match the imagery of the comics as closely as possible, I’d bring Chris Gossett on as a concept artist.

In terms of music, I’d move away from a John Williams-inspired classical score and instead go for something ambient and electronic – something similar to Tangerine Dream’s score for the American cut of Legend.

Unfortunately, when it comes to actors I can only picture ones who are now too old to play the parts.

While 2016 most certainly sucked and blowed simultaneously, it did produce at least one good thing: Frinkiac. Long may Frinkiac be a source for cromulent Simpsons memes & gifs.

I think he’s trying to say that there’s nothing wrong with the prequel visuals as they turned out.

To which I say: Yes and no.

I love rain. Nothing fills me with as much solace as a good, heavy rainstorm during spring or summer.

Of course, I’m not so keen on rain during fall or winter, for obvious reasons.

I haven’t gotten around to reading many of them yet. Of the ones I did read, some – like “Hammertong” or “Side Trip” – were good, while others – like “Sleight of Hand” – were meh.

Yes it is and yes it is and yes it would have.

IIRC, Zahn was none too fond of direction the EU went in after the release of the Thrawn Trilogy – he never liked Palpatine returning in clone bodies, how KJA & co. developed Mara’s character, etc. – so he felt compelled to fix those issues in the Hand of Thrawn books. That’s why so many of those references are there.

Oh yeah, and he’s friends with Stackpole. They even collaborated on a story or two together.

Yeah, Star Wars Tales was awesome … until these issues came out. Then the comic became a dumping ground for multi-issue stories which were “canon” and could’ve been slotted into any of the SW comics Dark Horse was publishing at the time. 80% of the fun was automatically sucked right out of Star Wars Tales with that lameass move.

I’m not at all surprised the title was cancelled shortly thereafter.

I wish I could be optimistic.

I briefly kept a journal back in 2003-2004. I pretty much abandoned it after I was expelled from school.

• My family are religious legalists who mock other religions/sects without having any understanding of those religions/sects while ignoring that the founder of theirs was a racist, sexist asshole who raped his own daughter and forced his followers to avoid professional healthcare.
• Progressive Christianity really appeals to me.
• I hate agnosticism. I want to believe in God again.
• Yay, another repetitive supper of hamburgers/chicken/stew/etc.
• I’m horny. Time to furiously do my taxes again.
• I hate furiously doing my taxes. I wish I was asexual.
• I’m so desperately lonely.
