I can't presume to know whether he did or not, there's good reason to believe either. I just don't think about it when I watch his films, which I can still love. It's probably important to note that the resurgence is 100% a PR thing. Firstly, Blue Jasmine's up for a few Oscars (and Cate Blanchett in particular is about extremely likely to win - note how Dylan calls her out by name a couple times in her op-ed) and, well campaigns can get really nasty; and, secondly, Ronan Farrow has a show coming to MSNBC.
Just don't think about it when you watch his movies. He's got some great ones, you wouldn't want that to spoil them.
I really hope JT34 is only ignoring Frink as some sort of larger conspiracy whose goal is to make Frink go crazy.
I mean crazier.
I think now it's "eh, you'll figure it out eventually."
Meh, probably nothing. Not that I think it's all without merit, but I just think hitting reset completely is better.
I'm no longer being ignored by Jedi Temple34.
How did this happen?
Maybe we should have Ric Olie 2 conduct a vote as to which is the real thread?

Yeah, sorry Mike-o, this here's the thread for podcasts:

I thought it was great. The Shatner stuff is confusing (where is he? why are there two control rooms?) but it's still funny.
You know you're not helping yourself, right? This thread should be in off topic.
As for the apology, we cool man. But you lost all your LA privileges.

I actually just started listening to podcasts. Earwolf's got some good stuff. Comedy Bang Bang in particular is really great.
I wonder if anyone else listens to podcasts? Say so here.
Dear MrCobb,
Please explain why your podcast thread is the one worth replying to.
Thanks,
The New Thread Thread
Because. You already replied to it twice, so there you go.

Frink, does this mean your mom had a son she never told me about (Ric) who has now taken over your profile, or does it mean that she simply thought she had another son, so she would sometimes call you Frink and sometimes Ric, and now you have a case of mistaken/confused identity?
Either way you should probably go to therapy.
Credentials.
Why do I need credentials?
I can't answer that until you provide credentials.
At least you're consistent.
I think OBI-WAN37's on to something. Read this exchange:
Queen Amidala: How did you end up here with us?
Jar Jar Binks: I don't know. Mesa day startin pretty okee-day with a brisky morning munchy, then BOOM! Gettin very scared and grabbin that Jedi and POW! Mesa here! Mesa gettin' very very scared!
Exceptional writing.
And what about this gem?
Darth Sideous: And Queen Amidala, has she signed the treaty?
Nute Gunray: She has... disappeared, my lord. One Naboo cruiser got past the blockade.
Darth Sideous: I want that treaty signed!
Nute Gunray: M-my lord, it-it's impossible to locate the ship. It's out of our range.
Darth Sideous: Not for a Sith.
Darth Sideous: This is my apprentice, Darth Maul. He will find your lost ship.
Nute Gunray: This is getting out of hand! Now, there are *two* of them!

Speaking of Shakespeare, a Shakespearean rendition of Star Wars would be equally entertaining.
There is a book: http://www.amazon.com/William-Shakespeares-Star-Wars-Doescher/dp/1594746370/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1390959343&sr=8-1&keywords=verily+a+new+hope
Got it for Christmas, pretty sweet

I always thought the Prequels should have been 1 movie, and I think it would have been alot more accepted among the SW fanbase. Coppola was able to tell Vito Corleone's backstory in one movie, why did we need 3 movies to see the backstory of Anakin Skywalker other then to cash in on the SW name?
If Lucas would have done 1 Prequel movie, he could have crafted a 3 hour no holds barred movie where it would have been all red meat to the fans, and we wouldn't have to deal with pointless exposition that makes the trilogy move like molasses sometimes.
When Puzo died he and Coppola were planning on a 4th film that would have told Vito's long missing backstory between the end of GF2 and the start of GF1, so this analogy doesn't totally work.
I agree it could have been covered in one movie but in a galaxy as big as SW 3 movies should have still been exciting and fast paced. Obi Wan was barely in TPM and Anakin wasn't developed at all either. Lucas could have stuffed all 3 of the PT with exciting adventures we never saw (The "Nest of Gundarks"? or "That business on Cato Nemoidia"?) or call me crazy but he could have shown us what happened in the bloody CLONE WARS?!?
Seeing the Clone Wars was the main reason I bought cinema tickets to those films. But all we got was Yoda saying they'd started in AOTC, one battle above Coruscant in ROTS, a couple of montages and then they were over. What happened to 'Episode II.5: The Clone Wars' Where we spent 2 hours having fun and beginning to actually like our two heroes Anakin and Obi-Wan?
I've only seen the first season of the proper show (and it's cool), but the first/micro series is really what we should have gotten in the PT. The bolded line is a perfect way to describe it, actually.
What an extraordinary thread.
I haven't watched a new episode in a few years but I found that, while pretty dumb, I still got some laughs out of it. The show's not good, per se, but it's not gouge your eyes out horrible as some people seem to believe.
1985, but the alternate era where Biff controls everything.
^That there's a fake, watch out Ric. He hasn't signed it.
It's quite baffling how often major motion pictures don't blur CGI backgrounds. It makes their fakeness that much more obvious, in many cases there's no way it'd be in focus along with the foreground.

Also, in other news. I decided to play around with wiggleramma in AE. I was able to get miniature like settings for some shots, but not overdone. I have to finish keyframing, but I got the opening shot of ROTS to look like some dude was just moving the camera through a set of minatures, and not CGI. I'm able to give much more 3D feeling to the CGI ships and such, which lends to making it feel more real.
No way. Don't believe it. Video or it isn't true.
Also, these screenshots look like the best thing to ever happen to the PT.
