  1. I don’t “hate” Obama as much as I loath him both as a person and as a President.

Lol, what is this even supposed to mean? I’d hate to hear about someone you actually hate.

I don’t even get it. If you hate him in every way that matters, how can you say you don’t hate him?

And how can you hate him as a person? When has he ever proven himself to be less than a decent guy? I hated Bush as a president but I’d never say I hate him as a person.

Ranking the Star Wars Soundtracks

Anakin’s theme is a good piece of music but it shouldn’t exist in its current form. It’s childish and Anakin should never have been portrayed as a child, so it’s hard to appreciate fully (not to mention he practically drops it in II and III).

Duel of the Fates is monumental and a perfect example of the film not being good enough for the music (or big enough). If I listened to the soundtrack first, I would have expected something much different.

I will NOT have you questioning my methods. I am the thread king and so you cannot disagree with me. I believe Jay made this quite clear in his new guidelines.

Damn, I’m such a good thread king. Well done. Well done.

Go for it. In the theatrical cut it made sense to have the down beat in between the Starkiller strike and the TIE fighter attack, but not here.

And yeah, it’s funny because adding that music as I did removes the bits of “Kylo Ren Arrives at the Battle” that you’re reusing. I’m sure there’s got to be a way to figure this out without having to reuse any music at all. I do like the solution of using “I Can Fly Anything,” especially as it’s the alternate from the soundtrack.

Besides it’s not only a trilogy about Anakin, but also about Palpatine, a fun character who’s evil just because he wants to be evil. And about Obi-Wan, the SW Sherlock Holmes with a reckless behavior loaded with punchlines.

Anakin is obviously a JESUS rehash for kids (Harry Potter/Hunger Games generation), and a lame rehash, which does not work. Like the plot is a Bible rehash, and a lame rehash.

I thought Obi-Wan was the Jesus rehash?

Well the edit doesn’t remove the main reason Finn sticks around which is that he cares about Rey and is worried with her missing that the FO has captured her. Him and Han and Chewie might not bolt for the Falcon when the whole reason they’re there is to get BB-8 safely to the Resistance (and he’s currently missing with Rey). Maz I guess would be making sure that the lightsaber makes it out of the castle in tact (and eventually to Rey). As for everyone else I think we have to assume they scramble off screen (as in the theatrical).
