Good show, I say. That’ll do it, old boy.
Good show, I say. That’ll do it, old boy.
Actually, the fiery explosions come from the fuel and oxygen inside the pressurized ship. Now, that doesn’t mean the way it occurs in the films is completely realistic.
Are those the actual chapter times from the BD? The spleen release wasn’t missing any frames, so it should match up with an official release.
EDIT: That site had other differing JP listings, so checking them all out would be a good idea, I guess. Isn’t there a way to find the real times in the official BD?
I love this thread.
I’ll still need to find a way to get into that place.
So, is ROTR going to get a live blog, since you haven’t shown it to them yet?
They’ve aged very well. I was just saying that more special effects doesn’t mean more well done, and here I am repeating myself. You said ESB outshines SW in special effects, but it only does so in number and not in quality, so that isn’t really outshining it.
^Blu-Tor*****
ESB outclasses STAR WARS in terms of plot, pacing, action, acting , special effects and just about every other term I can conjure up in my mind.
Okay, more special effects doesn’t mean more well done special effects. ESB has a lot more special effects work, and a lot of it is fantastic, but I would say the effects in Star Wars outclass ESB in that they are far more seamless throughout the whole film, whereas in Empire, there are a lot more issues with matte boxes and blue screen lines.
It’s not that Vader killing the Emperor made all the wrong he has done okay, because he did a good deed. Throwing the Emperor down the shaft was the outward action expressing the inner change.
Who says it’s something they gotta learn before they die?
Apparently George does because it’s an ability in the PT.
Why bring the PT into this? It’s notorious for incorrectly (or implausibly) portraying things.
Because they’re canon. And even if you leave them out of it there’s still no explanation as to why Anakin turned into a Force Spirit. You’d have to assume that all Jedi are just taught that.
They are one with the Force. There’s your perfectly good explanation. Why does it need to be taught to someone like a technique of some sort. This is religion we’re talking about. That’s what I hate the most about the PT portrayal of the Force. It’s no longer treated like a religion that a select group of Jedi (monks) follow in good faith.
That’s fine…I just wish they hadn’t made it seem like all of the darkness inside him dropped instantly. Maybe if Kylo Ren renounces the Dark Side (which I highly doubt) they could have him atone for his misdeeds.
The purpose of that whole ending was that Anakin overcame the darkness inside of him and redeemed himself. Luke could sense the good in him, and was able to bring it to surface, in spite of Vader claiming it was to late for him. Nothing that needs an answer is left unanswered.

I dislike when people call it TESB. I don’t care if it’s technically correct, it looks weird.
Agreed.
Deleting that thread is like George deleting the Holiday Special. Don’t try to erase history, because whether you like it or not, that thread happened, and it holds a lot of important info on what actually happened regarding TN1, albeit a lot of filler and speculation.
EDIT: If for anything, that thread should be left there just to keep the last post.
Just give it up, Harmy. I don’t think he’ll stop any time soon. To you, armatin: you are wrong about the rancor scene, as Harmy has stated. There is hard evidence in the footage itself. And I agree with Harmy completely on the subject of restoration (Bambi, Spartacus, etc.). You claim so much experience, but the way you post, you appear to have little to no experience with film, or have eyesight problems.
^Read this post, please.
- Rey possibly getting her mind wiped which would explain her being competent with the lightsaber
Do you mean she learned to use a lightsaber in the past, and then her mind was wiped, and then she can use the saber because of muscle memory? Just curious if that’s what your point is here, because I got super confused the first time I read that sentence.
You can simply optically extract the information in the exact form as it was encoded originally. We certaly can’t say the same for vinyls.
So, what your saying is, vinyl is piracy safe, while CD is not.

If you categorize asians as reptilian-eyed, noseless, gray-skinned space aliens who speak English with some sort of impediment, then I guess you’d recognize some asians in TPM.
and so silly
I disagree. I’d love to know why you think that way though.
They felt like the PT. That’s the easiest way to explain it.
No.
JEDIT: Except for the part about hurting your eyes, I can’t speak to that.
And that they were CG.
It’s not that the idea of a large creature eating people was non-peril-inducing, but the things were so fake, and so silly, the whole scene was so silly. I wasn’t worried one bit about what might happen to Finn when it was dragging him around, because, well, it was dragging him around instead of eating him like it did with everybody else. It’s also been discussed before how he wasn’t even bruised after all that.
Haha! You mean that silly CG crap that hurt my eyes for three minutes and added nothing to any sense of peril?
Why didn’t you just download the AVCHD instead of the MKV in the first place? But, to answer the question, I think that you have to use a different program such as Handbrake.
