The AOTC and ROTS yoda's were acceptable. It's the one from TPM that needs some serious work. Should anyone plan on rotoscoping a more familiar yoda into the prequels, than for the love of the little green dude, please start with TPM :-)

What do you mean? That they aren't ffffff? They shouldn't be, pure white means overexposure.

I don't think my version is all that dark, but it's the best I could do without making it dull or overexposed.

I think it makes perfect sense it doesn't end the same way as the others as ESB ends with a cliffhanger, so you're not supposed to feel like "oh this is the end".

The ESB soundtrack is the best one, don't change things that work.

And what would you change in the ships? All you get to see are walls and a display that shows a shield generator... the display looks fine to me and I don't think the walls looked that much different in the prequels either...

Nice pics, but they look pretty bad quality wise. There's way too much noise, not sure if it's just due to the jpg compression though.

Shooting in RAW and converting to png should give you a better result.

Do you think it's necessary to keep the crawls in these films?
It sounds like it could be confusing seeing the ANH crawl after a scene from AOTC. I see it this way: why would you only explain the story of ANH, but not the story of AOTC? I think the films work just fine without the crawl and if you're going for a back to back experience anyway...
What are your thoughts on this?

The poster looked good. Though I think it does need another title than just "star wars", how else are we supposed to know it's a different film? Projects as 'revisited' and 'reborn' also had a small extra title.

@Asteroid-man: they were planning to use alternate music anyway, so go for it. If you want adys ANH, telling us if you need the PAL or NTSC version would help. Or perhaps ask ady for the lossless avi. If I remember correctly he offered it himself to infodroid for this project.

It's just that a lot of people here agree that the scene is pointless as everything has already been said in the Greedo scene. (plus Jaba looks awfull).

Yes, I was surprised the whole "there is no father" aspect was still in there as well. I'm also not sure if showing the final part of the "construction of vader" was a good idea, if you haven't seen the film yet that'd just be confusing. I think ;-)

I'd like to second Eric's request for clips: you guys must've put a lot of time in this, so it'd be a waste if you let all of that work go to waste

eg. I remember seeing an unfinished (?) recut of the Mace vs Sidioud fight, which was absolutely amazing. Did you ever finish it and did you add the War of the Worlds music? If so I'd love to see the result :-)
