Sorry, I am still frantically seeding away, i just look in here every few hours cuz i get bored. Its good to link faces(as such) and progress here with the torrent, all i can see from my end is a big list of faceless IP addresses. For a while there, i didn't even know if any OT members were getting this or not.

A few are upto 50% done now so we may get a few completed and helping to seed by tomorrow night

I've just watched this. INCREDIBLE, absolutly incredible! God, this brings back the fondness i felt for star wars a long while back. Building Empire fans will love this as it doesn't stray from the formula that made BE just work.

I aint gonna give things away because you owe it to yourself to see it in the 1st place. Also let the credits roll because it doesn't quite end there either.

Highlight for me though (i'm on a total high with this) is to see my name in the closing credits of a Star Wars film!!!! You just cant beat that! Whoo!

Is it even feasible to ask how many people it will reach from those places. Fans on here may be waiting to get a copy while bootleggers post it for $/£10 a disk on e-bay.

Also on a personal note, this is just my opinion but Jambe dont get too miffed with the time you've spent infront of your Mac (researching,ripping,converting,editing,rendering,re-encoding,burning, and all that stuff most of us members do not understand) for the past 12 months (even longer infact if you throw Bulding Empire into the mix before that). You are on the verge of the rewards in the hearts of fans/followers that only a few elite members here have ever touched by giving us a project like this.

Perhaps, to some its going to be another DVD to add to the the collection, but to others, you are giving something to cherish and hold onto thats been a part of their lives in the past, and for the future that only you (and dare i include Lucas) can put thier name to. Yeah i sound like a fanboy, but this needs to be said.

Building Empire hit a market Lucas never delivered to after making the OT. I feel you made that happen with Building Empire for most of us true fans. You also get baggage as direct result from that success.

So although it may not feel like it at times, but you may never reach this high again..............

Registrations are open every friday from 6pm GMT so that should buy us a little time to get the ball rolling. Members can generate an invite code to get people in at other times, although you can only generate one code (not sure if its per day/week or period-i'll have to look it up).

Edit: looks like members have a limited 'unspecified' number of people who they can invite by generating an access code. If you know anyone with an account now is the time to ask a favour. It will be uploaded as soon as i get it. If you sign up friday the torrent should be well going by then so.....patience is the key(you've waited this long so whats an extra week or so).

Two extra images for the set

The final spanning cover for the set here, and the disk label for Returning to Jedi to match the other two here.

Might i suggest altering the mail instructions on the 1st page just to clarify to folks that they should a blank disk along with a 'pre-paid' self addressed envilope inside for returning the disk. The last thing you need is to be swamped with disks in the mail and having to pay out to send them back to people.

Also i am able to upload this for torrenting on demonoid if no one else has yet offered to.

Big smile. Thats how we learn from you JD. I was lead to believe this was early concept art. But alas, you do really know your stuff, and that helps me to believe you were the chosen one for this project. Looking forward to your revelations with this project.

Sojourn, dont mean to be a bugger or anything but i cant honestly remember where my sources came from, its mainly a collabiration of my time here at the OTforums as well as a couple of custom cover sites. Dig and save until something comes up thats worthy of your time and talent then share (thats what i'm doing at least). This community usually will stear you in the right direction.

Thank you kaine23 and Jambe. I have your e-mail and have just sent the pic to your inbox. The McQuarrie image on the back of Returning to Jedi is a favourite of mine because it displays how organised and formidable the empire has become as such. I could use a screen grab, but it throws the rest of the set unless i change them aswell. I have a load of other McQuarrie Hi-rez jedi art i can look through. I do like the idea of using concept art for this because it takes the project back to the pre-production era, in a way linking up with the feel for the project.

Actually, im happy with the Deleted Magic and Building Empire covers now, but even after the rework the RTJ cover really buggs me. Guess i'll keep plugging away....

I would like to point out that in defence of OCP that he has become increasingly frustrated at bootleggers selling copies of his Deleted Magic at conventions and on ebay at premium prices and has campaigned to stop these faceless people from doing this in the past with minimal effect. So hes done nothing that others arn't already doing elsewhere (with the exception of using these forums to market them and putting his own name to it).

I have delt with him in the when i first joined up with these forums and i perceive him to be an intelegent and genuine guy who will go out of his way to help anyone in anyway that he can, even to the extent he was out of pocket with the release of Deleted Magic. Yet, over time i have seen his attitude become more....well....jaded, with members of the OTforums. Perhaps he blames members for distributing his work and making money from it for themselves (Jambe Davadar has had the same problems with Building Empire). He may just be p**sed off enough after being hounded for copys of this and that, to want to get something back for himself now hes at a low.

I can see this from both sides and I can understand why the Mods have acted the way they have (rules are rules and the freedom of speech argument cannot be used to bend them) after giving him a second chance in the past and he's come back and made matters much worse for himself, just, give the guy a break at the moment.
I dont condone his behaviour, but dont label him a pirate and use him as an example to others, as he himself is a victim of piracy.

I dunno, this may be just me, but i get the feeling this is a two fingered salute to all the fans of the OOT. Two months after the official release that we moved mountains to get on DVD we get a semi sub-par release that now feels as if its thrown into the bargin bin at the local store. Lucas may state that supply exeeded demand for the OOT and wasn't deemed enough of success in the retail market, hence they are trying to cutback on their losses on this release with a price reduction. Not that i hate Lucus, i just hate commercialism.
