Deleted Magic is a different style of format to BE and RTJ and doesn't really sit right with their 'cousins' as such. DM is a work of art, but i'm sure OCP would admit things can be elaborated or adapted upon even if not much else can be added to it. Its not really a case of trying to better Deleted Magic.

Also, the thread is turning technical again! Okay, its annoying to have files sitting on the Hard Drive and not being able to get them to disk, but its usually a case of trial and error with experience(i poo poo'd nero from V.7 onwards because of buggs in the software), and not cause to churn every problem to the threads to see if i can get an answer time. How about working at offering a solution, rather than a problem?

It seems as though the torrent has gone out to 300ish people in its PAL format at this stage (thats a hell of a lot of burning time/mailing to and from saved Jambe) after a week. And, its nice to see long time lurkers at the OT come out and make that 1st post down this project (i initially lurked for ages before finding something worthy of taking the plunge to make a 1st post here-again i also think i'd been drinking at that particular time).

Howz about some more reviews here perhapz?

I also would like to make a special mention to the 'all ships pull up' SFX sequence in the doco, just because i used the step back button on my DVD player (for the 1st time in a very, very long time), to check if my mind wasn't playing tricks on what i'd just thought i'd seen (and as just because it's not been commented as yet upon). Thats something that should have been added. Mind you, i loved that rumour about the Millenium Falcon being destroyed when leaving the Death Star 2.

Gonna do that interview at all Jambe?

Did you ever finish the spanning cover for RTJ? I have the standalone one only as far as I can tell. Hese would truly look impressive as a set, especially after the NTSC conversions.

As i didn't make an official release post. Here is my spanning spine set for Deleted Magic, Building Empire and Returnng to Jedi (the darkened band saying IMANDIX COVER TEST in the previews does not feature on the covers and is just a feature of the rendering software i used for the previews).

Yeah, go for it. I think Garrett done the same thing after Deleted Magic came out. I would stipulate being refered to as JambeDavdar rather than your real name just as a precaution. Just remember us if/when Hollywood comes a knocking though.

So much choice with the covers for this. Choice is always a good thing when you come to print your cover for the project. Im gonna try playing a trump card with my latest cover now, as this one has a grab of my fav. clips from the DVD on the back(slightly ammended from this preview pic), featuring the leia in her slave girl bikin outfiti!

I tracked down a copy for my PC after requesting this for preservation onto DVD some time back. Only then did it become all to clear why its never been done. Its a monster CD of navigation menues, a solar system full of text based info, and oodles of windowed clips. Making Magic is a different kettle of fish compared to this one. Surly it canna be done!

Its damn fine piece of software to boot, so its worth hunting down if you've never had the chance experience it.

Jees. Can people, just for today, stop analyzing with a microscope every little nitpick thay can spot. Its turning into see if i can find whats wrong, rather than give the praise thread. I can almost hear Jambe hitting his head on the wall with every few posts. Its been a real taxing day as it is trying to sort the chapter issue out for all concerned, so please, direct your energy more where its really needed at this time, its not like you've blown £16 at HMV to watch this

Okay, one problem I've run into... during the transition from Chapter 23 to Chapter 24 of documentary, the movie bails to the Main Menu. However, if I just skip Chapter 24 the disc resumes just fine. Any ideas here?

This could be an issue here, as my DVD player froze late on in the disk when i viewed it the other night(my player is getting on a bit and does this now and again). I navigated to the point after the freeze and it played the remainder fine.

Thinking there may be an issue with the source i've just flicked through the disk and the vob files on my PC, but they seem to be okay.

Good to hear lybertyboy that you're mucking in with the uploads.
Urm, 1080i .ts format, howz that looking on that mother of a screen you have. How big does each film weigh in at? How you storing em?

But alas, the real good stuff in this documentry would stand out like a sore thumb when mixed in with that sort of quality (sort of like .rmv mixed with in with DVD content). And i couldn't imagine Jambe tackling this all over again now that its complete anyhow.............Sorry to speak for you Jambe.

28 seeders now (at last). Glad to have you all aboard. That means not one has hit and run on this (that is great news), as majority usually do with torrents. Please hang in there though for the others that hang in the wings.

Very nearly complete now for a few. I'd like to take this oppertunity to thank everyone for hangin in there, expecially DAVY, the reverend, number20, lybertyboy, nix.nux, lordjedi, russs15, 8t88, fabwill, Harlock415, cbaka, Arnie.d, zaz_fan, kaine23, lito2187, gallandro and malbie (since you took the time to comment), and upmost thanks to the maker JambeDavdar.

The speeds have dropped because you are reaching the level of the top peers. I can only seed as fast as my connection allows (my 4MB connection is topping out at 38 to 58 KB between 131 leechers) and if i could i would push it faster. I would have done it more or less like you you suggested lybertyboy, but i couldn't wait to get RTJ out to people as fast as i could. But ultimatly, like i've stated before, patience is the key. You will get the rewards at the end. Thats why i'm crying out for seeders to stay on-line as some people have a greater broadband speed than i have. I've never used super-seed before, nor do i understand how it gets to you faster, I've just heard it does. I can actually feel the frustration/anxiety to get this, and i really feel for you all(but not in a homosexual way). But its gonna arrive sooner than snail mail....perhaps, would, and Jambe doesn't have to sell a kidney and give up his home just to get this out to the masses

The chief of this feast, like it.I keep meaing to quote, do not thank me - "bless the maker" every time i get thanked for uploading the torrent.

Cbaka Grooaoohumpf (Thanks). What sort of download speeds are you getting? Seems kinda slow and steady progress (5 hours and 11%), at least i'm getting you there. I know, newsgroups will blitz this, i used to use them, but they are tricky to understand and i was forever using paypal for extra download allowence for the bugger.

Jambe, a odd question just sprung to mind a while ago that i'd thought i'd throw at ya. Would you ever consider doing a fan documentary in the JDproductions style for the, er.........urm.......prequels(like ever, all things considered and someone will pay mega bucks for you to do so, like on their sort of say so, or just as a dare to see like if you are really talented enough to pull it off)?
