Thanks Ripplin. I'll have a look, though im sure its not there (at least not last time i was there). Trust me, ive been digging around where i got it from before i even asked. Its always great to have a heads up though.

EDIT: i guess its been a while since i was last there then, as the archive is a lot bigger than i recall.

I cant seem to connect to the link HotRod (though it maybe my connection as ive been having trouble with it all night if your still there).

Anyone got a picture of this? I messed up my image by clicking save on my master copy at the wrong time. Its a poster that came with C&VG mag or Crash64 many moons ago.

Perhaps. The tread keeps getting side tracked with talk about the prequels, ideas for Jedi and even refrences to backstroke of the west (it took a few seconds to figure out what the Panda Bear reference was about) ;-)

By the time we get to Jedi, all the ideas will be scattered throughout this thread.

I agree with the idea of not altering the OT to fit in with the prequels though.

Well, everyone can be whatever they want to, but if you're going to get very vocal and not understanding you might risk alienating some of your fans who read these forums. LOL. I know its not Star Wars..... I just don't care <- thats one of 'those' quotes for someones signature right there. I laughed so hard because i heard Adys response in the style of Gunnery Sergeant Hartman saying "What the hell????? Last time i looked this is the ESB:R thread" in my mind (see i told you sleep deprivation does weird things to a person!).

Yummy. With a full 1080p 46" screen and Bluray-station to play it on, i would be sorted to get the best viewing experience for my fav. StarWars film.

Actually, it would go some of the way to explaining how the imperial walkers got onto the planets surface in the first place (attack of the clones gave us the benefit of seeing drop ships putting the AT-ST's into battle). And with Vader waiting in the wings to land on the planet, i think it would work quite well. It also would add an increased scence of menace to the imperial attack on the rebels.

Thing is there would be quite a few number of shots where the stardestroyer would have to be included into, rather than just that one shot (including the speeder fly the legs bit - that could prove very difficult to do).

The workload involved vs. the benefits it serves, tips to far to one side, i would imagine.

It would look really good though.

This was Georges cameo apperance in Jedi, but got canned back when ILM didnt want to include fake arsed looking shots in a film (unlike when they put Jabba into Star Wars in the SE's, or Yoda in the phantom menarse) ;-P

EDIT: urm, the last two images they are in 1080 resolution, just Imageshack keeps choosing to re-size the images for some strange reason and wont let me delete pictures i dont need anymore(its more tempramental than trying to use windows). Id have to e-mail them to you if you can use 'em 'et all sir.

Good luck if you attempt the build (i searched a load of model builers sites last night after seeing your request, but no one has done a proper model of the generator unfortunatly). It did cross my mind about rendering a CGI model but it would be going down the SE approach to re-working the films.

Its not as simple as searching through google images with different phrases to find what Adys looking for.

I could ask on some model builder forums if this has been done (to a better standard than the picture i posted above), but it seems model builders prefer to build ships or prop replicas.

Jonny Ringo, i imagine the HD source will be easy enough to down convert to DVD9 with a slight drop in quality to cater for the masses when it comes to distribution. Or as Adywan has done split the HD source between two DVD9s to retain the quality.

Whilst it may be good to throw the odd occasional ideas for Jedi:Revisited for somewhere down the line, the topic at hand is primarily Empire:Revisited.

Ady has a big enough workload with this project alone, without getting side tracked about talk of two or three other projects on from here, that he may, or may not even be bothered to do in the end.

Just help him to focus on making the best he can do with what hes got.

Empire for me is arguably the best Star Wars film in the saga, so when its to the standard Ady is happy with, im sure most of us will appreciate the choices hes made.

Im just surprised no one has asked for a possible release date for this yet as thats usually the norm!

I havent had any problems as yet with my wireless Sky connection (other than it was running like a 56k modem a few days back).

I read somewhere there were several IG-88s made, and upon activation killed their creator, which could explain the white IG-88. Its all cannon crap though.

Hang on there JR. Ive now got the ads for GTA3, San Andreas, and GTAIV. So im just short of the top down games, Vice City and perhaps Vice City/Liberty City stories (didnt play the latter two so not sure if they have ads, but going on what ive found so far i image they would have ads aswell).

This is really good stuff. Ive just played around with an MP3 track list incorperating a couple of spoof ads, a song of my choice, two more random ads, a quick radio station plug, a talk station (Laslows reprival in this case), a few more ads, then another song from my hard drive.

The ads are not cut perfectly, but this is starting to sound like a radio channel id REALLY love to listening to for a change.

I really forgot about a joke i had about Pogo the Monkey with my kids. That was a big part of bringing them up for me (urm, yeah, i let them play GTA, like all the parents who bought an 18 game recently for someone who may well quite not be technically 18). RATINGS ARE AN ARSE anyhow. How did Star Wars with scences of decapitation/torture/even mass murder get a U/PG cert?

Yeah, GTA, maybe pushing it abit with kids with lanuage, and the violence of the missions, sometimes it sits uncomfortably with me. 

But they may be trying to spoon feed a way of thinking.

Perhaps Star Wars warrents an 18 cert if it was released now, if didnt sit right with the certifaction board?

Thats a start. Thats what im tapping upon. Was/wasn't there a guy at Rockstar responsible for producing the spoof advertisments only (if thats the case then this would be a homage to the pure tallent that he deserves!).

The torrents are dead klockwork, as ive tried only links i can find from VC (and are,well, dead). Thats why im so desperate for this compilation. Is there anyway to hook up a PC to an XBOX perhaps, just to grab the soundtrack?????

The PISSWATER ad in IV, really cracked me up. Perhaps made me even think of this in the 1st place.

Now that you mention it djsmokingjam, did they have the spoof ads back then? I remember having a button on your controller to make you fart which was a party piece for me (which i miss). The games were pretty average, to say at best. (didnt you have to press the "gas" button just to walk?).

Vice City was the one that made the hype.

Why? Not the soundtrack alone. Guess the marketing people never even guessed this would get under our skins enough, to produce a (WARNING: POLITICAL "INNCORRECT" EXPRESSION) argh, urm, it has gone.

This may be a different sort of request (as its for MP3s/FLACs rather than video files), but how about about a compilation of GTA's spoof adivertisments from any of the games, so you can add them in between your MP3 playlists perhaps.

The ads are comedy gold and deserverd to be preserved (I'd compile them myself if i knew how to).

To me the adverts are 60% of the draw to the game, and are just as good as watching a stand up DVD.

Ive looked around and this idea has been touched upon yet not carried out totally. Anyone. Anybody?
