25. Bad mixture of Luke element and speeder being crushed element- I will be working on that
I feel the weight of the AT AT would crush the speeder a lot more than this shot, and i imagine the next two steps the walker takes would look very dis-jointed after that.
Also, this shot buggs me:
as the front support flipper looks like it draggs across the snow rather than taking a clean step, if you know what i mean.
And, has anyone brought up that damn snowflake on Chewies foot at all?

Thats what i thought he could be getting at there. Although to me i can make out the Falcons engines in Fetts view finder as opposed to watching Pirates of the Carribean or something.
Though, its nice piece of trivia all the same (that the prop is an actual screen on the helmet) ;-)
It also would be nice to see the scrap that gets dumped in that shot with greater definition BTW as the effect looks more than a little dated.

But, alas, as the title of the film dictates, the empire does strike back.
Bringing down more AT ATs would be fantastic in terms of a "WOW" factor, but the film really could do with a greater scence of loss on the rebels part in the Hoth battle(as just to show both sides suffer heavy losses in the assult).
Harder, faster. > More intense < is the operative phrase.
Methinks this idea carrys some weight.....(if it can be done that is, masterAdy)

But....I dont mean to sound like a kill-joy with these fantasic ideas coming up now, i just think we've got to be a little more realistic here.
Yeah, the Tie reveal in a ANH:R was one of those jaw dropping moments (even if some didnt like it!) that brought the movie upto date with current technology IMHO (ive always wanted to ask you how in the hell you did that, yet i prefer not even knowing).
But, creating 'moving' AT ATs in computer graphics that fit in with the existing footage, would be something even a studio of computer graphic artists would struggle to do (never mind recreating actors to add extra scenes here and there).

Welcome to the real world Ady as Sky throttles me to a paltry 28kbps on my supposed 8MB (2MB at its peak) connection, as "free" user on RS, and not a great deal better as a premium account (and you think YOU are throttled?). So i can understand why he suggested the torrents, and even as to why you declined.
The evil ones are winning unfortunatly, bit by bit. And this way of distribution may become more and more impossible.
Im also guessing the weight of expectation is becoming a very heavy weight on your shoulders right now ;-)
