Idea: a preservation of Hardware Wars SE?
Time
I have the Hardware Wars SE VHS. Did they actually make changes to the movie for this release. I thought it was just a re-release of the movie spoofing the SE's of star wars but didnt think they actually made any changes.

This is the only version i saw, but if they did make changes i may be forced to picking up a copy of the dvd to get the original version.

Uber edition of Leon??? How can it get more uber than the un-cut version?

and why do they always re-release movies i have in uber editions...its not fair

"Who is that blonde woman introduced in the cast right before Ford/Solo?"

which blond woman?

"Why are there wookiees in dresses? Isn't that a little redundant?"

it makes them feel pretty

"Why is there a ST on Kashyyyk harassing Chewie's familty?"

Why not? The Imperials are mean and their looking for hidden rebels. Takes place after Episode IV so the empire is aware Chewie is with the rebels. Makes sense to me.

"Why did they use puppets for Lumpawaroom's close-ups rather than a suit like chewie?"

CGI wasnt invented yet. Only thing i can think of was that they didnt put that level of detail into his suit so used a smaller puppet with more detail for close ups.

"nobody answered my questions...
Also, where is Luke, and why is Boba Fett a cartoon?"

Luke's there, he talks with them on the phone a few times and i believe is in the song at the end. Isnt he also in the cartoon segment.

and fetts a cartoon because its the obligatory random cartoon in the middle of the show. and the fett costume wasnt finished yet

hope that helps

No he won't. Not directly anyway. He'll just slowly replace the current scenes with CGI versions. That way it's still the original trilogy (at least according to him anyway, we'll all know the truth)

Riddles

I believe Warbler is correct as ive seen this before (with a diff paragraph) and he said nothing is wrong with it so im assuming the spelling error of young is just a typo. Though i guess he's not officially correct until the poster of the riddle (Sessler) give the ok.

ahh, thanks, i forgot about that.

so obviously when they went home they both made new sabers and went with the blue blade, which fits in with what they had during episode IV (or in anakins case, what he 'left' for luke)

does your dvd burner also burn cds? mine did so i dropped the straight cdrw and just put in the burner.

but as far as your set up, what you listed there is probably ideal. Reason being the IDE channel can only read or write one at a time...so if your doing a direct copy of cd to cd (or dvd to dvd if your cd-rom is in fact a dvd-rom) then it will be faster otherwise it will copy to the hd first. same goes for copying files from harddrive to cd/dvd it would have to read then write as apposed to a simultanous read/write.

p.s. Im more of a software guy, so while im pretty sure as to the accuracy of the above dont shoot me if i am missinformed.

That's what's in the trailer. I think it's great.

Hold up, im confused and im at work so cant reference the dvds. Anakin is using a green saber in AOTC? I thought he had a blue one. I know at the end he fights with a green and a blue, but i thought the green was obi-wans (ie Qui-Gon's old saber).

Because in Episode IV when Obi-Wan gives luke anakin's old saber its blue, and obi-wan uses a blue saber himself. So obviously obi-wan's saber was blue, as was anakins (unless it changed color since it was sitting unused in a chest in obi-wans hut for so long).

Damn you Lucas and your continuity errors
