^Every edition Ady has released is in widescreen.

Oh, cool :)

It's just that the xvid copy that I downloaded ages ago was fullscreen for some reason.

That's odd, because the official XVID is widescreen also.  Perhaps whatever you were watching it on compressed it.  I've had that problem trying to encode my own XVIDs.

That's probably it. Thanks for clearing that up. I've actually had the same problem with an edited version of Batman Forever, but I managed to burn that xvid onto a DVD+RW and it was widescreen on my HDTV. Do you reckon it would be safe for me to just burn the SWRevisited xvid onto a blank DVD+RW? Or does that sound plain dumb?

Hi Ady

I love your menus, they look really ace!

I still need to complete the cover that I'm making, and I can't wait to see your official one

Sorry to bother you, but will there be an option to view the movie in a widescreen format like the official DVD releases as well as in full screen too - if not then its ok, I was just wondering (And I don't know if you've already answered this, but do you have a list of special features, preferably the DVD 9, at hand?) Thanks.

Sorry again

Hey Ady!

I managed to watch the whole thing with sound (which took me a while to find)....and OMG! The whole production is amazing, and I truly consider this as Canon, I'll never have a Star Wars marathon without your edit (the 2004 DVD is dead for me as far as I'm concerned). I watched the whole saga, including your Edit of EpIV, and it all fits now, the gap between EpIII and IV is much clearer to see.

By the way will it be ok if I message you about the DVD version of your production, and when would be best (and what details would you want)? Thanks

Thanks again for the great achievement, and I'm sure you feel fulfilled

P.S - My cover art will be up sometime this month....I hope....I just need to iron it out

Hi Ady!

OMG! I absolutely love the movie, I downloaded the XviD...I had a lack of audio, apparently....but I know its embedded whin the AVI file so I'm trying to get it at this moment in time

Wow! Thanks for adding my nickname in the special thanks And I'm right near the legendary Darth Editious too, though I suppose that's down to the alphabetical listing, which is quite convenient

I'll wait for the DVD-9 as well, that should be fun And it'll be fine since it'll be playable in the PAL region

I'll post my cover on here by mid-February, I have to make it look ace!

Thanks again, you're a dedicated Star Wars fan and a great person

May the Force Be With You!

Hi Ady

You can still get MP3 downloads of the McNeely Shadows of the Empire Album. They're all on www.dockingbay101.com and each track is free to download (you can find the music easily by looking in the music sections). The quality seems to be fine.

Will you still be adding the Imperial March to the film? That'd be great

By the way on YouTube I'm grandjedimaster7860 (I have loads of Star Wars music videos), and I made a video quite recently with edited clips from A New Hope - http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=7i_LLE0UTcA

Basically I've added the Imperial March to 3 clips. I have 2 snippets of Joel McNeely's music, I've used an instance of the Imperial March from the ROTS Music CD (from the track 'Enter Lord Vader'); and also a slowed down version of the Imperial March from TESB.

Well it is a tiny bit crude in places (i.e. you'll hear some of the original track underneath what I have added), but other than that I hope its worth a look at.

And good luck Ady...the Force will be with you...always.

Hi Ady

Thanks for the snapshots.....Wow!

You're definately a dedicated fan!

By the way will you have clips of it to upload on sites such as YouTube, becuase its good to make the project attract other fans, so that they can know of your expertise.

Thanks again (And I'm working on a custom fan cover in some of my spare time by the way)

I'll type back later.

Yes there will be , but not as extensive as ANH. Jedi needs the most work where as Empire just needs a few elements changing as it is a great movie as it stand (except a couple of the SE changes that have to go). So those 2 films will mainly be touching up (unless we get some deleted scenes before i get around to the sequels of course). But Hayden has to go in Jedi. That is one of my most hated change in any of the SE's (Greedo shooting first being my number 1). Sebastian Shaw will be returning for my edit so it will definately be the return of the original jedi. lol

That sounds great! I appreciate the fact that you are such as dedicated Star Wars fan, and the edit(s) should look amzing in the end. I'm sure that you'll end up with an edit that would make even Darth Editious envious (actually I loved his edition of it - but you have more material in yours from the looks of it).

Well I hope you're taking care of yourself and not killing yourself doing it.

I just realised that you, like me, are in the UK, which is pretty cool. I've enjoyed having a look at the comments on this thread of course!

By the way could you let me design a DVD cover for your 'Episode IV' edit, I love designing things like that - oh, and I could have them ready online by late October. Would that be ok?

Well thanks again and take care adywan

The trailers look absolutely amazing! I'd love to get a copy when its completed (will there be proper DVD covers to download as well by the way?) Oh and it would make a fine addition to my collection. I love the idea that the Imperial March will appear in ANH (I was disapointed that they didn't put it in the 2004 DVDs). I also had certain expectations on the boxset and was quite delighted by the restored and enhanced movies, though there were moments where the gloss faded, and then parts of it looked pretty bad (Luke's lightsaber beam and I was expecting the end battle in IV to be completely remade digitally). But nevertheless I loved the set. Your fan-movie will probably be the best there is. Will there also be a download link in the end (for the completed masterpiece) or will we just have to buy a DVD that'll be sent to our homes (if so, I'm all the way in the UK). Thanks for starting the whole thing, I hope you're having fun in the final stages of putting the movie together into shape. One final thing - will there be some minor editing done to Episode's V and VI (though I think its a good thing they put Hayden Christensen in at the end of VI, they could have made him look about 45 by adding make-up on him).
