Assuming that you do take the prequels and the 3d clone wars cartoon as canon, I have a couple things to say.
I can't explain Luke's familiarity of Dagobah, but in said cartoon, Tarkin was an officer in the Clone Wars, Anakin worked with him, and he his personality was pretty much the same.

Question about the super resolution algorithm, does it require that the source originally came from something sufficiently high resolution, or can it work for things like home movies that were filmed directly on vhs tape?
SWBF2 was my first real multiplayer fps. I used to play the pc version online a lot. A few years later I got into the Star Wars First Strike mod for Battlefield 2142, as well as vanilla bf2142, bf2, bf2 sandbox, bf2 racer, and to a far lesser extent, project reality and AIX. Good times. Of course, now that I am big on FLOSS(Free/Libre and Open Source Software)-ness, I am stuck with the next best thing: ETLegacy. Shame there aren't any real free and open source Battlefield clones...
As for the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront game, I probably won't play it, but if I did, I hope that it implements squad play and other battlefield features, as there has been a drought of T-rated Battlefield games. Sure, I'm old enough to play the M-rated games if I really wanted to, but I prefer not thinking about untoggable profanity and blood.

I honestly agree with Bingowings suggestion, though maybe not exactly as he describes it. In my opinion, off-topic should be split into a serious section with regular moderation and a silly section with light moderation.
Either way though, there has to be some moderation to put the trolls at bay.

I have my parents wedding tape, along with several other home movies. I think the wedding of some of my cousins was one of the last things that my family used 8mm film for before transitioning to vhs and video8/hi8 (I can't tell which of those two 8mm formats were used).

AOTC has some alternate scenes in the film version. It's possible that these alternate scenes are at a higher resolution than the digitally shot stuff. As for ROTS, there isn't any good reason to scan it, unless you want to use it to recolor the blu-ray.
