I remember it came together in the end, but I was underwhelmed through most of it. I did love the Gob/Tony Wonder episode, though.
Pretty excited to check out the “remixed” version Friday, though.
Season 5 has been in the can for a while, Ron Howard tweeted about recording VO for it while shooting Solo, but it’s nice to have a real announcement.
And about time for the chronological cut, they’ve been talking about that for years (and Howard said he recorded new VO for it ages ago).
The milking scene is still in; I loved that right away and wouldn’t want to remove it. This film has a lot of latent sexuality, in keeping with Star Wars. That’s also why I will be re-adding Rey asking Kylo to put something on when he is shirtless; it helps set up their “touching hands” scene.

That’ll get it to run at the correct speed, but there’s still a ton of ugly interlacing artefacts that will need to be fixed. That was my biggest issue when working with the DVD.
Unless they somehow fixed them for the BR, which I doubt…
I’d offer to take a look but as I said, I don’t own the BD so I don’t feel comfortable doing so until I do (and, of course, there are forum rules to take into account).
And I was thinking only Star Wars had it bad.

Pretty much this. I never had a problem with the leaf joke (it’s the most OT Luke moment in the film to me), but the Rose line is very on the nose.

No, he’s totally right. Unless that is somehow relevant to the job you’re applying for (which I very strongly doubt, even if you’re looking for a job in the video game industry), that’s something that would almost certainly make any HR manager throw your resume in the trash.
The only time I could see it being worth including on a resume is if you’re applying for a job QA testing real-time strategy games.
You’d probably have to stick to one of the AC3 tracks, and even then it might still be too big.

Loki might come back, because due to Ragnarok and the character’s success in it, they might decide to resurrect him for (if they end up doing) Thor 4. I hope Vision and Gamora are gone for good though. But most theories here regarding them sound much more convincing than actual death for the characters.
