You have to do a double carat with a space between the two. Like this:

 > >

If you do a single one, it shows up as a quote. Double it and it shows as a quote within a quote, which buries it. So this:

 > SPOILERS
 >
 > > Vader is Luke's papa

Shows up like this:

SPOILERS

Vader is Luke’s papa

Or you can just do it on a single line, so:

 > > Anakin is a whiny bitch

Becomes:

Anakin is a whiny bitch

Hope that helps!

Each phase of films is loosely planned out before they start working on them as opposed to just going a movie at a time and hoping everything fits together in the end.

Seems like an odd thing to include in the marketing lingo. Seems more of an internal administrative thing.

It kinda made sense at first when The Avengers was the culmination of the previous “phase one” movies, as in like the finale of that season. Phase two and three have been like that to an extent but not completely. At this point it’s biggest use is to just compartmentalize the movies chronologically.

Yep, also this. When you’ve got 20+ films that all share continuity but are also part of their own franchises, you’ve got to find a way to organize it all in some fashion.

Yes and no - Captain America 1 takes place in the 1940s while the rest of Phase 1 is all 2010ish, but Cap 1 introduces the Tesseract which sets up Avengers 1 (it’s the MacGuffin of both films), and Captain Marvel will be set in the 1990s while the rest of Phase 3 is all 2016-18ish.

Think of it more like seasons of a TV show. Each phase of films is loosely planned out before they start working on them as opposed to just going a movie at a time and hoping everything fits together in the end.

PHASE [insert number]

???

Marvel movies are categorized into “phases.” Phase 1 is Iron Man through Avengers, Phase 2 is Iron Man 3 through Ant-Man, and Phase 3 is Captain America: Civil War through Avengers 4.

Apparently these covers put which phase each movie is in on the spine.

"Doctor Who" (1996) at proper speed [AUDIO FINISHED; VIDEO SECOND PASS IN PROGRESS]

Likely the same problems, but at higher resolution, so it might be easier to correct? I don’t know. Don’t have the BR, but I may pick it up at some point and resurrect this project. I’ll update the OP if and when that happens, but don’t hold your breath - if someone else wants to tackle this, by all means, go for it!

And this as well.

Pretty sure Boba Fett would quickly be toast.

edit: did he bring a fist to a lightsaber fight? Rookie mistake.

I mean, Mandalorian armor and the weaponry built within it is specifically designed to fight Force users wielding lightsabers, so he has more of a chance than you might think.

And that’s not even using information from Legends, that’s all from TCW and Rebels.

The Worst Scene/Sequence in Any Star Wars Film

I understand that ‘Jedi being hypocrites lead to their downfall’. That’s fine. It’s just that I don’t care about the Jedi in the first place- so I can’t care about their downfall.

What I look for in a movie is likable characters. I like Luke Skywalker, I like Han Solo, and I like Leia Organa.

You know what trio I don’t give two shits about? Anakin, Padme, and prequel Obi-Wan!

Every scene in that trilogy is the worst because I don’t like the characters and I don’t care if they succeed. I don’t even know what Obi-Wan wants! He doesn’t have an arc in the prequels! In TPM he tells Qui-Gon to be more boring so that he could be on the council. In AOTC he fights with Anakin the whole movie, talking about how arrogant he is. And in ROTS Obi-Wan barely considers bringing Anakin back to the good side. He feels bad about it, sure, but he has no reservations telling Yoda to kill him instead!

“And he was a good friend” my ass.

Anakin, our protagonist, isn’t relatable in any way! He’s an annoying little boy in TPM, he’s a weirdo sex-pervert in AOTC, and he’s a bipolar maniac in ROTS! He doesn’t have a fall from grace in my mind because we never see him in a likable state!

Padme’s just boring. I don’t care about negotiating support in the senate. I don’t care about “fixing up the baby’s room on Naboo”. Nothing that character does ever matters, especially in ROTS. She just sits and talks and dies. The only reason George had her in the movies is because Luke and Leia had to have a mommy.

The droid conveyor belt scene could have been fine if I cared about the characters (and if it wasn’t just a last-minute thought.)

I knew there was a reason I liked you, snooker. 😉

The Place to Go for Emotional Support
Time

Apparently the only girl I’ve ever had a real relationship with got married today.

It’s not really a big deal - it’s not like I ever wanted to get back together with her or anything, I haven’t even talked to her in a couple of years - but it made me realize that I’ve been single for more than double the length of my relationship with her.

So now I’m depressed and feeling like I’m destined to be alone for the rest of my life and all that. You know, the usual.

Stupid Facebook…

Help: Looking for... the following StarWars fanedits/Preservation
Time

No one’s going to give you links to or copies of fan edits or preservations if you’re openly admitting to not owning the official Blu-Ray. That’s a prerequisite for any fan project. (Unless it uses no Blu-Ray source material, in which case you need to own the official DVD, but it appears you’ve also admitted to not owning that either.)
