No, we’re saying Lucas did a shit job of plotting out the timeframe of the movie. I think we’re supposed to believe she’s already 7 or 8 months pregnant at minimum when we meet up with her and that she’s been doing a stupidly good job of hiding her belly, but that’s definitely a stretch.

But yes, ROTS does only take place over the course of a few days to a week.

Info Wanted: What is the best 'Attack of the Clones' edit?
Time

Yep, I’ve yet to see any edit that is halfway decent that doesn’t include some of the deleted scenes. I generally don’t recommend downloading an AOTC edit at a higher res than 720p, it helps them blend a little better.

For example, Obi-Wan and Mace talking on the landing platform is the worst-looking one of the bunch, but it’s in almost every edit because it’s so necessary and so much better than the scene that replaced it in the theatrical cut.

Info: Has anyone heard more about Star Ep9: Rise of Skywalker’s The J.J. Abrams Cut??

My take on that is that JJ and Terrio rewrote and reshot so much that the scenes that ended up getting deleted didn’t really match the rest of the film.

This. I can’t think of examples off the top of my head, but I’ve seen deleted scenes from multiple films throughout my life that were clearly deleted, rewritten, and refilmed before the rest of the movie was set in stone, menaing that deleted scene no longer can function in any version of the film since the scenes that supported it (or that it set up) were never filmed.

That’s got to be the situation for RO, Solo, and TROS - these movies were clearly so much in flux during filming that most of the scenes that were cut are so incompatible with the remaining scenes that they probably start subplots that were never finished, or include characters that no longer exist (Matt Smith, anyone?), and Disney doesn’t want to show just how much changes happened during and after filming, so they just skipped on including any deleted scenes.

I imagine we’ll see them eventually. Once having demonstrable evidence of how much tinkering was actually done can no longer negatively affect revenue in a significant way.

Maybe they just don’t agree with you about how good it looks? Why is that so hard to believe?

Well you didn’t quote the rest of my reply, giving a false impression on what I was actually saying.

I continued by asking if the playback on Google Drive causes any issues with colouring, which would contribute to causing confusion between myself and others about what issues we were actually referring to. That is what I meant was hard to believe.

After you spent multiple posts being absolutely incredulous at the idea that anyone could disagree with you in thinking the colors were perfect. But whatever, go ahead and pretend I’m misrepresenting what you’re saying. I’ll go back to avoiding this thread until the final release. It’s gotten unwieldy and impossible to follow unless you’re on it 24/7 (with multiple pages of new posts daily) and people with your “My opinions are right and if you disagree there’s something wrong with you” attitude make it not fun to do so anyway.

Okay, so the workprint seems to be a perfect match with the frames Skenera provided meaning that the intensity or whatever you want to call it, has not been altered either intentionally or mistakingly by Hal like I had wrongly assumed.

Because of this, I have no idea what everyone is complaining about.

Maybe they just don’t agree with you about how good it looks? Why is that so hard to believe?

If we’re emphasizing on Reys darker side via the sabre could we maybe consider Rey indirectly killing Leia

Haven’t watched your video, but this is how I interpreted the scene in the theater and how I still interpret it, and I still think it’s weird that nobody else seems to see it that way.

Rey definitely killed Leia by accident, you guys. That’s why she tried to run away and hide on Ahch-To.

Also if anyone’s interested im making my own blu ray covers for my personal copy ill make. I used some international poster art, upscaled it, messed around with colours and made my own logo. Made a normal and crazy one.

Dude, these are great! What font is that for the TROS logo? I may have to steal it for the final version of my vanilla BR cover set, since I still haven’t found a “classic” TROS logo I really like.
