Man of Steel: A Symbol of Hope by TM2YC
Excellent edit. A bit more subtle than his Star Trek: Vengeance, but TM2YC did a great job with this.
Full review on IFDb since I just figured out how to log in there to leave a review (hint for anyone else who can’t figure out how to leave reviews there: it’s not the same account as your FE.org forum account).
Another reason for Frink not to like YouTube.

JEDIT: The second link does contain disturbing, not just weird, content. It is properly warned.
Holy shit.
And I only read the first link…
Shin Godzilla
Didn’t go as far into Evangelion-esque craziness or intensity as I was expecting or hoping, but it was a good deal more disturbing than most Godzilla films, which is a good thing. Loved the commentary on political red tape, loved that Godzilla evolves as he grows, loved that he emits massive amounts of radiation by simply existing…
…didn’t really love the ending. Was hoping for more of a final rampage than what was there.
Here’s hoping they do make a sequel in 2020, I’d love to see this Godzilla take on another Kaiju.
8 burnt skeleton tails out of 10.
Have a small portion of the Ewok celebration which then leads to the funeral pyre scene. This is where the Force Ghsots will appear and the film will end with Luke being alone (which in turn foreshadows TFA).
This. I like this.
Eh, I’d rather Obsidian, CDPR, or Guerilla Games than Bethesda at this point.
And Neverar gets it - just give us Elder Scrolls VI and stop dicking us around with ESO and ninety different remasters of Skyrim…
GetFLV didn’t work for me. Using the IE kernel I was able to see the video files to download, but upon downloading I just ended up with a ~250MB MP4 file that wouldn’t play in anything and showed up as completely empty in MediaInfo.
Might try downloading Safari/Opera/something else and using that kernel instead tonight, but I’m not holding my breath. Waste of $60…
If V2 could be ready by the 10th I’d be a very happy camper. 😄 (I’m planning a TFA viewing party that night.)
NBC is now saying it was a 4.1 earthquake.
They must’ve found out it only had a mono surround channel.
And if I’m not mistaken, a major goal of this edit is to provide a base for people who like the restructuring idea to make their own edits of the film without having to do all the tedious restructuring work themselves. Hence, only things that support the restructuring itself are being done here - anything beyond that is up to other editors (like Neverar’s Starlight project, which uses Restructured as a jumping off point).
Shit, the only reason I own the 9-disc Blu-Ray set is to ease my conscience on that front (and have access to the deleted scenes so I can do my own personal edits…eventually…)
Same reason I own the TFA 3D Blu-Ray set when I don’t own a 3D TV.
That might be another beyond-the-scope-of-this-edit idea, but you’re not wrong IMO.
EA owns BioWare, don’t they…?
Shit, I should’ve checked the index thread…
As someone who has more personality-related similarities with you than I do the vast majority of other people…you should definitely consider seeing a therapist sooner rather than later.
Or when he just wanted to make a Flash Gordon movie.
Looks great! Subtle, but definitely an improvement.
Some public WiFi networks require you to accept their terms of service before you can actually connect. It’ll say that until you agree to the terms - usually there’ll be a push notification that says something like “complete network setup,” but sometimes you have to navigate to a website (any will do), at which point it’ll redirect you to their ToS page.
Seeing as how I didn’t know it existed until just now, I couldn’t say!
Best Beatles album! 😀
Agreed, though I haven’t listened to them all, and the ones I have listened to, I haven’t in quite a while.
Obviously, these rankings are entirely objective and cannot be contested in any way. 😉
HELL YES! Really hoping AVENGERS: Infinity War is nearly or over 180 minutes.
Ooh boy no thanks.
I’d rather have three hours of THE AVENGERS (both comic book/MCU and that 1960s telly show, very well everything) rather than Star Wars. I shit you not.
I got tired sitting through the 2.5 hour Ultron, so I’m leery of something longer. The MCU literally didn’t exist when I was 10 years old.
Well, AoU was boring. If it were interesting it could have been 3.5 hours and I’d have been fine with it.
Is this still expected to be Part 1 with a Part 2 to follow?
They’re no longer called Part 1 and Part 2, but they were filmed at the same time, and Avengers 4 comes out one year after Infinity War.
Apparently the subtitle for Avengers 4 has been chosen but not announced, as it’s a “spoiler” for Infinity War.
Best Beatles album! 😀
I’ve heard it a bunch. Mostly comment sections. Where do they think the extra detail came from?
Oh wait, I know that one…
Harmy made some rotoscoping on it.
Okay, that genuinely made me laugh out loud. 😂
When I cared about Hulu, I had good luck with GetFLV. You can demo the program for free to see if it works: http://www.vdigger.com/download.html
Internet’s finally fixed and will be up and running again tomorrow, so I should have a chance to try this out after work tomorrow night.
