Are hot pockets still made out of old phone books?
I haven’t seen new phone books in years, so I’d assume so.

Eww.
Pot kettle and all that.
You’re right. The hives I once got from eating expired, unrefrigerated peanut butter were far more viscerally distressing.
You refrigerate peanut butter? You monster…
Before right this minute, I didn’t know you could leave peanut putter unrefrigerated for long periods of time.
I didn’t know peanut butter actually expired, kind of like honey. Then again, I go through peanut butter fairly quickly, so I probably tend to eat it all long before it gets to that point.
The more and more I hear about this deleted caretaker village scene, the more I understand why it was cut.
Luke mourning Han’s death however will be a great addition to any fan edit.
Agreed on both counts. I also like the idea of the Rey hologram recording, though I don’t know how well it would fit pacing wise.

Yeah, the garage scene is almost certainly a DVD addition.
Do we know if the cinema DTS we have is for the 35mm version, the DLP version, or both?
I’ve always said Oh-Lay. *shrug*
Ah, yep, those are the ones! Thanks for finding them, oojason, I wasn’t looking in the index thread for some stupid reason.
I think the backs of mine were based on the 1990-ish slipcases while the backs of EyeShotFirst’s were based on the 1992 reissue.
This thread may be of use to you. Mine don’t seem to be in there, but EyeShotFirst’s versions are very nice. Still DVD case sized, though, not BR.
Would these be like what you had in mind? Or are they emulating a different VHS version than what you were thinking?
Those are actually pretty good too but actually thinking of this set. I believe these are from the 1992
I made a DVD set of these a while back, they’re somewhere in one of the threads in this corner of the forum. I’ll see if I can find them.
Been meaning to do a Blu-Ray set conversion (well, remake from scratch, more likely) one of these days.
Wasn’t it stated in the film that they believed there to be a spy due to the First Order’s ability to track them through hyperspace?
Different order of shots in 2 scenes, removed speeders in one scene etc.
The different order of shots was a
fuckupdeliberate creative decision on the Blu-Ray

The different order of shots was a fuckup on the Blu-Ray, not a 35mm/digital theatrical difference.
I think most of us assumed that would be the case. I’m just happy he was willing and able to do all three sequel trilogy films.
Interesting that Johnson claims the village scene was not the third lesson, and that he implies there never was a third lesson written or filmed…
I’ll throw in a vote for using the 89 Batmobile instead of the BF neon abomination if that’s actually feasible.
Nope. The primary difference is Anakin’s mechanical hand at the wedding ceremony - in the 35mm version it just sits there and twitches a bit, in the digital version it grabs Padme’s hand.
I think there are a few other differences too, but I’m not 100% on what they are.
The absolute best use of this would be to take the face of ESB Yoda and put it over TLJ Yoda.
Quick Photoshop attempt;
I want some of what bottom Yoda’s smoking.
I think it looks to cg
Who is “cg”?
Why does It look to him?
What does It look to CG for? Assistance? guidance? These are questions we may never find the answers to.
It Looks fake
That’s because it’s a “quick photoshop attempt”.
Here’s a slightly less quick photoshop attempt I made where I overlayed parts of old Yoda on new Yoda:
I think I can make this work in the movie with After Effects rather than FakeApp.
The upper lip is my only real issue with the TLJ puppet. Possibly also the way the mouth scrunches together when closed, but that might just be an extension of the upper lip issue.
I feel like it would then need to have significantly greater firepower than any other Star Destroyer for anyone to call it a battle station…and then you’re back to the giant death laser you’re trying to avoid.

For the record, it wasn’t for my car. I unfortunately have a Pontiac.
Report him to YouTube and the authorities. Joke or not, doesn’t matter. If it’s a joke he’ll learn real quick that’s not something to fucking joke about.
Isn’t the Invisible Thread just the thread that was inside us all along?
Hey, that’s cheating!
Oooh, that makes a lot of sense. Man, it’d be awesome to finally have Web complete!
Whaddaya think, a single episode or a whole/partial serial? I’ve heard rumors of Macra Terror potentially being discovered recently…
I like that quite a bit, actually. I think the first two sentences of the second paragraph are a little clunky, but don’t have much by way of suggestions for improvement at the moment.
