I see Luke Skywalker as Obi-wan, not just for mentoring Rey to become a Jedi, but Luke Skywalker had the Original Trilogy, that was about him, just as the Prequels told the story of Anakin AND Obi-wan, so when it came to the OT, it wasn’t about Obi-wan anymore, he was in the trilogy, but only to mentor Luke, give him his father’s lightsaber and make way for the new characters like Luke, Han Solo and Leia to go on their adventure. He gave his life, so they could live.

The Sequel Trilogy is NOT about Luke, he has a job to do, that is to train Rey and reveal stuff to her, Leia and Ben Solo, just as Obi-wan did for Luke, Luke will do for Rey, but it’s not his story, his was told in the OT films. Luke will reveal things in TLJ that we already know and some things that we don’t. Will he give his life, so others may live as well? Will he live to Episode IX? That remains to be seen, but this trilogy is about Rey, Finn and Poe Dameron.

I liked TFA, but I hope Episode IX is not a rehash of ANY of the other Star Wars films.

I made this one really quick, I didn’t add any detail, shadows or fix light shading or anything like that. I wanted to see if I could recreate the Return of the Jedi scene with Jabba’s sail barge. What do you think?

I know I have to go into detail on it, but it’s just a work in progress so far. I did this because Ady is working on Return of the Jedi Revisited and I wanted to see what it would look like going back into that scene.

Ady, can or will you change ROTJ Mon Mothma to the Prequel/Rogue One actress Genevieve O’Reilly. I wish Lucasfilm or Ady would fix this. I mean, I know she’s wearing the same outfit, and the guy tells you who she is, but for continuity, it would look better. I wish they would film those scenes with her, instead of Caroline Blakiston, don’t get me wrong, she did an amazing job, but the new actress is in Rogue One and that’s only 4 years from ROTJ.

As far as Anakin’s force ghost, why not start out as Sebastian Shaw, he looks over to Ben, that’s where he changes to Hayden’s Anakin, as he turns to look back at Luke.

Keep the Lapti Nek and Yub Nub songs. The victory celebration scenes, remove Jar Jar “Weesa Free!”

I agree with Snooker, restore the Moff Jerjerrod subplot. You need this, as it takes this story into a more serious tone, instead of what it was. It reminds me of Tarkin and Leia, their performances made it feel her planet was about to be destroyed. It’s a sense of realism.

I wish you could add the infamous Sandstorm scene, but I understand it just doesn’t belong.

In 9 months we’ll have 10 star wars films. They are almost done. The Last Jedi needs to be scored soon, and Ron Howard is finishing up Han Solo.

It wouldn’t take much to get someone with a movie accurate Vader costume, Palpatine could be inserted into the scene. The problem would be finding a suitable and awesome background in which to shoot the scene and insert it into Revenge of the Sith. I know it would cost some money to do it, but it would be better than what we got.

As far as filming a new set of Prequels, right now or in the next couple of years, it will never happen. 15-20 years from now, maybe.

Could they shoot additional footage and add to the Prequels to make them better, like some of the horrendous dialogue, yeah, they could do that. Will this happen, 100% sure it won’t, at least as long as George Lucas is alive, it won’t. There might even be a clause in the contract that Disney’s Bob Iger and George Lucas signed saying they will not touch certain or all films by making changes to them, who knows really.

Kathleen Kennedy will NEVER let it happen.

Currently, there are 10 Star Wars films, and 12 if you count the Ewok films. The Last Jedi and the Han Solo film are just about done, it will only take editing the footage and it’s done.

I worked on this today, it’s from The Last Jedi. It has Rey standing in front of Luke with her staff. It’s from Entertainment Weekly, but I removed ENTERTAINMENT from the image. I did the best that I could, I had to be creative in some parts. Somebody can use it for whatever they like, like a leaflet or chapter flyer.

I would love to see Luke building his lightsaber, but I hate the C-3PO standing outside, it looks so fake. Perhaps, Adywan can fix that, and then add the scene in.

The extended bunker scene is cool, but unnecessary, unless you’re making a extended cut of the film.

As far as the Emperor telling Luke his lightsaber is much like his father’s scene. I think everybody just disregards that. I take it as, he built it himself and forget it. It is much like Obi-wan’s saber, because the plans he found for it, were in Ben’s hut.

I think they should show Lando in disguise, but don’t have him lower his mask. This way when you see the Jabba Barge scene and you think Luke is going to die, it’s a big reveal and a surprise to the audience.

As far as the Jedi force ghosts scene, I personally prefer Sebastian Shaw (older Anakin) tnan Hayden’s ghost. However, I don’t know what is in store for The Last Jedi. I know Yoda will be in it, Ewan McGregor will be shooting in early 2019 for a 2020 release, so maybe, just maybe, he’ll shoot a scene for Episode IX, in his older make-up as Obi-wan along with Yoda, and probably Luke Skywalker. This way you have a full circle, Rey looks over to see her master, Luke, his two masters, Yoda and Ben, and Luke’s father, Anakin. This time, there would be four force ghosts, maybe five. (I’m making this all up.)

We just have to wait and see what Yoda and Luke have to say about the force ghosts thing, it might be explained, but probably not. I hope Rian gives us something about it.

You did a tremendous job, you deserve more than a month off. Thank you for fixing all the errors that George didn’t.

To all the people that are nitpicking, the movie is done, just let it be the way it is. Let it go.

I’m happy for everything that he has done, he fixed so much, and I’m grateful for it.

I look forward to Return of the Jedi Revisited.

If we flip Grievous and Kylo Ren, the four top ones, will all be facing the same way and the four bottoms ones will face the other way.

Yes, thank you. I will be adding all my Star Wars picture files that I have done, to my google drive in the next couple of days and will share it with everyone.

What’s funny is Disney is milking the Original Trilogy cow with Vader, Tarkin, young Leia, Yavin IV, etc. Now, they are using a young Han Solo, Chewbacca, Vader again, Lando, Jabba, Boba Fett, and the Falcon. Then, once they confirm it, they will be milking the Prequels with an older Obi-wan “Ben” Kenobi film, using Qui-gon Jinn, Yoda, Mace Windu and what ever characters they decide to use from the prequels or original trilogy, like Mos Eisley, the cantina, or a young Luke Skywalker.

Yes, Mace Windu will be in the new Obi-wan spin-off. We didn’t see him die, this will give him closure and to see him meet Obi-wan in the cantina in Mos Eisley talking about Anakin/Vader/Palpatine. They also go an adventure with the two of them as he sacrifices his life for Obi-wan at the end, so he can be there for young Luke.

Think about it, in The Force Awakens you have Finn, in the Han Solo film you have Donald Glover’s Lando. It makes sense to have Master Windu return with a bionic arm and bad ass attitude, he’s mad about what happened to him and the Jedi. He went into hiding, but Vader or The Empire never got him.

That’s how I would do it.
