Nice! I love it, thank you.
Nice! I love it, thank you.
I wonder if they’re cheating with that last shot? Do we technically see Rey and Ren in the same frame?
I think it might be Rey’s vision, she asks him in her force vision to help choose where she’s supposed to be, then she wakes up and falls to the ground gasping for air, like in the teaser. Then she dives into the water and climbs out. She then tells Luke what happened and what she thinks she needs to do. Then Luke says, “This is not going to go the way you think!” Which eventually leads to her in front of Snoke frozen in place after defeating some of the red Praetorian guards.
Remember Luke has been down this road before. He saw his friends in Cloud city in his vision too, but Yoda warns him that, “Hard to see, the future is.” Luke is warning Rey, what she sees in her vision, isn’t going to be what actually happens, because the future is always in motion.
That’s what I took from the trailer. I hope this helps.
yeah, Chewie definitely had some CG to his face, eyes and mouth. They probably didn’t get the performance they wanted from Chewie when they shot it, so they enhanced his performance through CG.
The teaser will probably come out after TLJ home release is available, to maximise the advertising space for each product.
Umm, that makes no sense, so the teaser for Han Solo will come out in April 2018, when TLJ is released on home video, and the movie comes out in May 2018. That makes absolutely no sense.
I’m willing to wager it’s released with TLJ in the theaters in December.
OMG, that trailer was so AWESOME!!!
This is interesting, check out when you put The Force Awakens with The Last Jedi poster. Rey and Finn face off, it’s pretty cool.

Here is another version I did, this one has Vader above Luke in the new poster.

I’m currently working on the sequel Episode IX poster, I have a few ideas that I’m toying with, and I’m seeing where that leads too.
It’s almost a guarantee, free marketing to Star Wars fans everywhere. What better way to market one film with another from the same universe. Marvel and Disney do it all the time, why not Lucasfilm, all which are owned by Disney.
I’m willing to make a bet on it, if it comes sooner than that, probably mid November or Thanksgiving time, but I have a feeling it will be with Star Wars The Last Jedi. It will be less than 6 months out, with no teaser of any kind, isn’t that a bit weird, if they didn’t release something by December? There is plenty of time to put together a 1 minute teaser of some kind and attach it to The Last Jedi. If you can’t, then that’s just ridiculous with everything they have shot already.
Maybe we’ll get a very short teaser for Obi-wan in front of the Han Solo film, the way we’ll get a teaser for Han Solo with Episode VIII The Last Jedi.
The teaser opens with the music from A New Hope: Tales of a Jedi Knight/Learn about the force.
as the camera goes along the desert until comes up over the hill where we see Ben’s home, then the camera travels into his home, where the lid of the chest opens and inside is Anakin’s lightsaber.
Cue logo and Year, Ben Kenobi Summer 2020.
I’m sure he would consider it, what the real problem with that is, he wants to finish this trilogy. He’s trying to get ROTJ:R up and running, and he probably doesn’t want to waste more time with ANHR:SE, that’s going backwards, of course, this is only my opinion, not his.
Why not film new scenes to make the Prequels better.
Liam Neeson, Ray Park, Ian McDiarmid can return to film new scenes. While Jake Lloyd, Natalie Portman, Hayden Christensen and Ewan McGregor can not, due to their ages, and Christopher Lee has passed on.
So why not fill in some plot holes, make some new ones 😃 and try and make them better. I know it won’t happen, I mean, you could do something like this, but all parties (Disney, George Lucas, Kathleen Kennedy and the actors) involved would never do it. They do have the ability to do it.
It is what it is, and that’s all you get.
I think there’s a good mix of both that make the aliens seem more real. It should be a live action muppet, with CG facial movements, to really get a realistic feel, because you’ll have something to work with, not just a stand-in or green stick. You can actually see what you’re looking at and where to stare when acting with it. If it’s a background character, you can either do CG or a live action muppet. I prefer the muppet, because you get a realistic shadow cast from the muppet or an actor in a suit. That’s what they did for Simon Pegg in TFA.

I have a few favorites that are endearing and memorable. This is NOT a top 20, nor in any particular order, except Star Wars, Empire and Raiders. I know I’m forgetting other great films at this moment, and I’m sure they belong near the top of this list, but I can’t think of them at this particular time.
Of course they don’t look good, they didn’t have much time to build them from scratch with the limited amount of time George had to pick the ones he wanted from several other designs that were created. On top of all that, the main reason that a lot of them are not that great, is because the amount of screen time that these puppets had, it really didn’t matter to George at the time, he just wanted to finish his trilogy and be done with it. He had to over look the Ewoks, Jabba’s palace characters, as well as all the other stuff he had to do. He wasn’t worried about character D, doesn’t look real enough, or Ree Yees can’t move his three eyes back and forth or up and down.
I’m not a professional voice actor, but the voices I can do are Jar Jar, C-3PO, the Emperor, and Sir Alec Guiness’ Obi-wan Kenobi. I can kinda do Yoda, but not as good as some of the other people on Youtube I’ve seen. Yoda is really hard for me to do.
I would prefer to see Obi-wan on a swoop bike, rather than an Eopie, and that he crashes it during an epic swoop bike shoot out with a villain.
I would like to see Jimmy Smits return again as Bail Organa, perhaps a bounty hunter finds out there’s a Jedi on Tatooine and Bail has to take matters into his own hands as he kills the bounty hunter in cold blood, protecting the secret of a Jedi on Tatooine, as well as Luke Skywalker.
It would be cool to see characters we know and love, do something that’s out of character for them and we see a different side to them, we haven’t seen before.
As far as the Han Solo film, I want to see Han and Chewie walk into the bar in Mos Eisley and sit down at the end of the film, as the camera pans across the bar, we see Obi-wan glancing over at them, giving us a little smile and nod.
Maybe next to him we briefly, and I mean briefly see Biggs Darklighter sitting at the table next to him.
I know what you’re thinking, No, don’t do that, but I think they should, it makes perfect sense. I’m sure Obi-wan knows Biggs, maybe this is where he meets him. This is a SHARED universe, Rogue One had Vader, Tarkin, X-wing pilots, and Leia.
This is just like the Marvel universe, why not have cameos of those characters in other films such as Han Solo and Obi-wan stand alone films.
I wonder if there will be Hyperdrive or engine failure when Han Solo wins it from Lando.
It would be funny if Woody Harrelson’s character is on the ship and it just dies or won’t go into hyperdrive in a time of crisis. He could give Han a funny look, like wtf? Han could say, “It’s not my fault.”
Can’t wait to see this.
That’s a great job, I like them. However, you have a spelling error on the back of the box that holds the 3 cases, where it says, "George Lucas presents, an adventure as big as the COMOS, it’s supposed to say COSMOS.
Once Adywan omits the scene with Luke asking Leia if she remembers her real mother in ROTJ: Revisited, then Padme can die in Revenge of the Sith.
I like what you did, except I didn’t like the audio cuts during Luke and Leia’s birth, and to be honest, I would show Leia’s birth, but I would somehow cut away from her being named. I would just have Bail saying he would take the girl. The reveal will be at the end of Rogue One, oh, it’s Leia, it’s the girl, but only to the audience. If you didn’t get it then, you’ll certainly get it by ROTJ.
I liked the inclusion of Qui-gon, I’ve heard it in another edit before.
The Luke Leia theme didn’t really work that well, as the music cues are off or out of place, if you will. I prefer the original Leia theme.
Also, I do like Vader’s helmet going on, he breathes, then that’s it. It would be cool to hear the Emperor say to Vader, “Lord Vader” right before he breathes out, Idk.
I like it overall, it’s a different take on the ending. You did a great job.
I see Luke Skywalker as Obi-wan, not just for mentoring Rey to become a Jedi, but Luke Skywalker had the Original Trilogy, that was about him, just as the Prequels told the story of Anakin AND Obi-wan, so when it came to the OT, it wasn’t about Obi-wan anymore, he was in the trilogy, but only to mentor Luke, give him his father’s lightsaber and make way for the new characters like Luke, Han Solo and Leia to go on their adventure. He gave his life, so they could live.
The Sequel Trilogy is NOT about Luke, he has a job to do, that is to train Rey and reveal stuff to her, Leia and Ben Solo, just as Obi-wan did for Luke, Luke will do for Rey, but it’s not his story, his was told in the OT films. Luke will reveal things in TLJ that we already know and some things that we don’t. Will he give his life, so others may live as well? Will he live to Episode IX? That remains to be seen, but this trilogy is about Rey, Finn and Poe Dameron.
I liked TFA, but I hope Episode IX is not a rehash of ANY of the other Star Wars films.
I made this one really quick, I didn’t add any detail, shadows or fix light shading or anything like that. I wanted to see if I could recreate the Return of the Jedi scene with Jabba’s sail barge. What do you think?
I know I have to go into detail on it, but it’s just a work in progress so far. I did this because Ady is working on Return of the Jedi Revisited and I wanted to see what it would look like going back into that scene.

I have the 1993 Definitive Laserdisc set. I need to scan the booklet and post it on here for others to use.
Ady, can or will you change ROTJ Mon Mothma to the Prequel/Rogue One actress Genevieve O’Reilly. I wish Lucasfilm or Ady would fix this. I mean, I know she’s wearing the same outfit, and the guy tells you who she is, but for continuity, it would look better. I wish they would film those scenes with her, instead of Caroline Blakiston, don’t get me wrong, she did an amazing job, but the new actress is in Rogue One and that’s only 4 years from ROTJ.
As far as Anakin’s force ghost, why not start out as Sebastian Shaw, he looks over to Ben, that’s where he changes to Hayden’s Anakin, as he turns to look back at Luke.
Keep the Lapti Nek and Yub Nub songs. The victory celebration scenes, remove Jar Jar “Weesa Free!”
I agree with Snooker, restore the Moff Jerjerrod subplot. You need this, as it takes this story into a more serious tone, instead of what it was. It reminds me of Tarkin and Leia, their performances made it feel her planet was about to be destroyed. It’s a sense of realism.
I wish you could add the infamous Sandstorm scene, but I understand it just doesn’t belong.
In 9 months we’ll have 10 star wars films. They are almost done. The Last Jedi needs to be scored soon, and Ron Howard is finishing up Han Solo.
It wouldn’t take much to get someone with a movie accurate Vader costume, Palpatine could be inserted into the scene. The problem would be finding a suitable and awesome background in which to shoot the scene and insert it into Revenge of the Sith. I know it would cost some money to do it, but it would be better than what we got.
As far as filming a new set of Prequels, right now or in the next couple of years, it will never happen. 15-20 years from now, maybe.
Could they shoot additional footage and add to the Prequels to make them better, like some of the horrendous dialogue, yeah, they could do that. Will this happen, 100% sure it won’t, at least as long as George Lucas is alive, it won’t. There might even be a clause in the contract that Disney’s Bob Iger and George Lucas signed saying they will not touch certain or all films by making changes to them, who knows really.
Kathleen Kennedy will NEVER let it happen.
Currently, there are 10 Star Wars films, and 12 if you count the Ewok films. The Last Jedi and the Han Solo film are just about done, it will only take editing the footage and it’s done.
