Any alterations to the extensive changelist?
Any alterations to the extensive changelist?
Joak Movies made an attempt to restore the scene in question before he suddenly disappeared from YouTube. From what I remember, he did a bang-on job. It was originally made for his own series of HP fanedits called “Harry Potter Revisited” (no relation).
Whatever was cut from Episode IX, it probably would have benefited this project in so many ways.
Why did Disney choose not to release any deleted scenes for the home release?
You say you’ve had video editing experience in the past, JJ. Care to elaborate?
any updates ???
The project is on hold until I’m more experienced. I have a smaller edit of the same film coming up in the meantime, so stay tuned for a new thread detailing the project.
Have you ever made the Darth Nihilus statue shot available, Chase?

I have been on the hunt for this decade-old fan edit for quite some time. I’m interested in seeing how it holds up nearly 12 years later, so it would mean a lot to me as a casual HP fan if I could see it for the first time in my life. 🙂
What’s the most recent version of this currently available?
I hope one day a significant effort will be made to properly restore the deleted scenes with green screen. The technology is there to make something out of them.
I couldn’t help but notice you labelled your Deathly Hallows edit as a “workprint” a few days ago, brother. If you’re looking for advice, then as a casual Harry Potter fan, I’ll be happy to give you some. I’ll even rip my own Blu-ray and show you some colour correction examples. 😉
So, what’s next for Hal?
Do you have Plex covers for the series?
I don’t know if this is even relevant, but the IMDb says there were originally two additional lines in the theatrical release.
Being someone who attended the 20th anniversary showing of the film in 4DX this past October, I can confirm that these two tidbits of dialogue are nowhere to be found in the print that was screened on that day. Who knows where the site got this information from? These two lines might be a nice find, though. 😏
There’s an “iTunes” cover included. I’d imagine that’d work best.
I see. The problem is, it’s being cut off at the sides. 😅
Any Plex posters?
Maybe this is me being greedy, but I want to see everything listed here:
https://lostmediawiki.com/Harry_Potter_(partially_found_unreleased_deleted_scenes_from_book_based_film_series;_2001-2011)
I personally want to see WarnerMedia headline a new two-in-one extended cut of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows with director David Yates’ supervision, simply entitled The Deathly Hallows. 😏
Any posters for Plex?
If anyone has seen the new HBO Max special yet (I haven’t, lol), how is the never-before-seen footage?
Wait, what!? New deleted scenes released!?
I dunno, that’s why I’m asking you guys!

Hello there !!! happy christmas everyone! I have not seen OT for a long time, I have had a lot of work hahahah. I hope everyone is doing well, fighting the pandemic. I have private messages that I have seen now, but I have seen that V2 has already been published, congratulations to all!
Could you have a link to the edition? 😃
Welcome back, jonh! Do you plan on improving upon the Phantom Four sometime in the near future? 😃
Apparently, the movie file comes equipped with subtitles on Plex already! 😀
you name it the exact same filename as the movie in the same directory except with an -en at the end.
You mean the same filename as the movie file itself, but with a special command at the end?
How does one add the subtitle file on Plex? If I can figure this one out, the viewing experience will be complete for me. 😃
Will this play well on Plex? 😃
