Praise be to Adam! 😄

Praise be to Adam! 😄
In this post-disc world of online file sharing, I’m slowly attaching vanity cards in front of my old edits with the intent of otherwise not touching the original streams I rendered back in the day. I started attaching them somewhere along the way (for example, Hannibal didn’t have one, Red Dragon did) so I’m cleaning up for consistency. MKV files with vanity cards at the front are, for the time being, the likeliest chance you’re viewing a low-gen / original source copy. They’re pro-forma for me now.
I do miss the days of informative disc menus. The project I’m working on now has a lot of expository, instructional bumpers to guide viewers through the experience I’m creating.
Sounds interesting. Will we be able to view your edits then?
I’m just glad ADM’s made their Half-Blood Prince EE available.
Just like with Spectre, count me in!
Finally, someone says it! 😄

Dunno if that’s made a difference. It could be closed off to faceboot users only. I can’t find another link.
I can click on the previous link and it opens. Probably some Meta shenigans.
Bloody Meta! 😭
Presumably you have heard this voice adjustment. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1Bp9Z3wbEj/
Link’s broken. 🥲
Question: did you rip Ryan Golden’s VO straight from YouTube?
Correct, the audio from this (the runtime and the fps should be exactly the same down to the millisecond, LOL) should be easily muxable into any mkv of this ep (720p, 480p, 4K HDR) once extracted in full. Anyone with an existing 4K HDR/DV rip of this should be able to just drop the .ac3 file into their muxer of choice and voila.
It would be kind of comedically overkill to share the entirety of a 40+min .ac3 file solely to get a single syllable restored in the sound-mix, but that’s where we are, because LFL wouldn’t get out of Tony’s way on this one.
Your efforts should tide us over until LFL allow the original take to be released, either as a Disney+ extra or part of a future Blu-ray box set. 😄
Praise Broom Boy for giving us the next best thing to the original uncensored take! 👏
I admire how your edit aims to pay homage to the classic Shaw Brothers movies. As someone who skipped out on the show, I never would’ve thought of drawing comparisons to a defunct movie studio based in Hong Kong! 😄
NFB, I’m getting curious to know what method you used to rescore the entire movie. 😃
Who’s Leonheart?
A fan editor from Reddit. I got the spelling wrong though.
It’s leeonheart22
Ah. 😅
Who’s Leonheart?
Great stuff! 👍
Waiting on a big fat update myself! I already know the Deathly Hallows Ultimate Edition is gonna rock: 3-3½ hours of EPIC!
Is it possible to rip 5.1 audio from YouTube? 😱
What I wouldn’t give for Tony Gilroy to release the original take… if Lucasfilm allows it. 😉
Okay, how about this
Love what you’ve got going on here, dude! 🧡
Any plans for V2, Nev?
I know I want to hear the original take.
Update - Destruction of Alderaan
Thanks for the patience.
Here’s a little update, Alderaan:
Looks like you’re doing more than modernising the audio and visual look, bro! 👀
Love what ya got going for here! I’ll be sure to pick this up once it’s done! 😄
This looks like the cut for me! I’m sold! 😃
Hey there! As a former fan editor of Batman Forever Remix (mixng Hans Zimmer / Danny Elfman, and other who worked on Arkham games and other animated movie scores) I am very interested in seeing this cut/edit!
Here’s some of the edits/clips I’ve worked on in the past.
Oh, hey! I wasn’t expecting to see you on the forums again, Douglas! What happened to your remix? 😃
Dabid Lynch Passed away on Thursday 16th January last week. What a shame and he will be a sorely missed film maker. It is with Redgret about Dune too that he wanted to go back in on. I think this must now call for this films extended cut to be finally sorted out and a definitive proper reconstruction of his work not only to celebrate his life and his achievements but for his family and prosperity.
Will a “director’s cut” even be possible now that he’s gone?
