"I am wondering.....why are you here?"

A few years later a sequel came out that I also liked, but not at the same level.  It looked different, it felt different, the characters had changed, and the story had changed.  Because of that, I wasn't all-in (as they say these days).  A few years after that, a second sequel - which I hated.

Dude! If you don't like Empire or Jedi you can just f-off! What are you even doing at a site like this anyway if you don't even care about 5/6th of Star Wars?

Geez, some people will hate anything!

;)

Hehehe! Sorry, I haven't heard anyone get hostile on you for a while and felt an uncontrollable urge to be a dork.

My Big Daddy figure arrived. It is massive! The lights look fantastic and it looks good with them off too, which was something I was worried about. The oxygen tank stays on his back just fine until you touch it, at which point it promptly falls off. But since for the most part he'll be on display, that isn't a bit deal. He stands up on his own as well. One interesting thing to note is that in reviews I have read that the drill has a really sharp tip, however, the tip of this one is very blunt. Maybe they changed it for safety reasons?

In other news, I've had my official Big Daddy rag doll on display for the last week, and it has really grown on me. They're down to $12.99 on amazon, that is a pretty good deal. I think I paid $17 for mine.

Took me a few minutes, but now I am doing fine on System Shock 2 with just my touchpad and keyboard.

Really enjoying the game so far. A lot of similarities to Bioshock, though it does have much stronger RPG elements than Bioshock. Besides obvious similarities like the psychic abilities and hacking, there is a near equivalent to gene tonics and free one time use upgrade stations (like the weapons upgrade machines on Rapture).

When playing certain games I like to get the atmosphere right, so games like the Resident Evils, Bioshock, and Fallout 3 I tend to after dark, alone, and with all the lights off. I really enjoy it when a game can set my hair on end and even occasionally make me jump, which doesn't happen often. System Shock 2 I haven't really taken seriously enough to get the atmosphere right, I've been playing in a well lit room sometimes even in daylight, yet I am pretty sure it has made me jump more times than the previous mentioned games all put together. I don't know what it is about it, I think it is because the "hybrids" can sneak up on you so quietly and then suddenly they just start talking. So you'll be exploring, think you're all alone, hear someone start talking right next to you, spin around and there is a guy right there getting ready to swing a pipe at you!

I just recently upgraded ALL my speakers and receiver to take FULL advantage of ALL the sweet HD audio options on Blu-rays now, my God what an experience it has been so far...

I wish I could get that excited about crap like this. I have a feeling my life would be much more blissful.

and like I also said, I am happy for those that like the sound of mono with there movies, that is great for them, I am glad you like it, but that is just waaaay to old school for me now.

It probably isn't intentional, but there is no small amount of an air of snobbery in this quote. Just in case you don't realize how you are coming off.

Is Part 3 of Anything Ever Good?
Time

Yeah, I have both the special editions on my 360, I love that they left the old graphics in there and was one of those who wished you could hear the voice overs with the old graphics in the first game and was grateful to see they rethought that for the second. I wish they would make a path to add it to the first game (Guybrush looks unforgivably bad in that on too though). I love how seemlessly you can change the graphics too with just the press of the select button, it is fun to be on a screen with the new graphics and want to remember what it used to be like and can with the simple press of a single button, or be playing the classic graphics and wonder what the new take on a scene is.

I really hope they go as far as to release Monkey Island three in HD. The way the cartoons were drawn looked great already and it already has full voice, so if they just make it widescreen and uprez it to HD, that be pretty cool. I'd pay $10 to have it on my 360 beside the other two.

I've heard the "new" (few years old now) episodic Monkey Island game was pretty good (I think from Nanner in part), but I have never gotten around to playing it. Really the idea of a new Monkey Island game doesn't interest me at all, but I do enjoy visiting old ones for nostalgia sake.

Last web series/tv show seen
Time

Sounds like your entertainment tastes would be better suited by comic books than TV shows... Just sayin'. I am personally kind of glad TV shows have gotten out of the habit of gratuitous cross-overs. That was a bit of a 90's marketing ploy which has thankfully gone out of style.

Watching Marble Hornets right now.

What a horribly made poorly acted piece of crap! Especially that douche bag who plays Tim! I am sure glad we don't have anyone in this community who played a major role in it, because that would bring this poor disreputable little clique down big time!

Oh wait...

;)

Actually, I am really enjoying it and am sorry it took me this long to get around to it. I attempted it several times since Nanner's first shameless plug, but always ended up getting interrupted. First two attempts, which were months apart, by freaky coincidence were interrupted by my internet, which never goes out, going out and preventing me from streaming them. The next time I tried to watch it, I was staying at someplace with really awful shared internet and couldn't stream them fast enough to be practical. Or maybe my internet issues every time I tried to watch the series wasn't a coincidence and something more sinister was at work...

And now that I know you look like a muscular Tekken character, I'll have to assume you could take me and be extremely careful not to piss you off.

Regardless of whether or, not I could... it's the internet so,... even if you made me mad what am I going to do? What this?

Ooooow! I don't know, you might! I'd hate to find out by one day unexpectedly finding your fist bursting through my monitor into my face. I think I'd better just play it safe and stay on your good side.
