I guess you still can't get ahold of the fact that you were the one who introduced the animosity here (both in, um, our "relationship", and generally, too), because you couldn't take a friggin' joke.

If I had the time, I'd go through all your posts to get a count of how many times you've said this exact same thing over and over and over and over and over and over again. Aren't you getting tired of saying the same thing yet?

I didn't meant to introduce any "animosity". All I did was suggest that you misused the word "predecessor", turns out I was completely wrong, because yes, I didn't realize you were making a joke. From there you started being a major asshole so I asked "What the fuck is your problem", because I felt your reaction was uncalled for and we typically like to keep it civil around here. Expect that kind of reaction when you use fighting words.

If I were standing here with the vast majority of off topic regulars saying I am the one being the problem, I'd like to think I'd be smart enough to stop for a second to look at myself and reevaluate the situation.

As far as I'm concerned, Moth3r was being the douche.

Instead of replying to the post, he chose to be a pedantic ass and view my added photo as an "image only post".

It was an image only post. Those are against the rules. If I, Fink, or anyone else made an image only post in the SW section, we'd have been called out on it too. He wasn't being a douche, he was doing his job.

If you've ever been pulled over for speeding, I suppose it was because the Police Officer was being a pedantic ass and viewed your speeding as a "speeding violation"?

The photo resembled his avatar at that time, and I wonder whether he actually caught that, or honestly couldn't get why I'd post it.

I am pretty sure he would have realized that. Doesn't change the reality that image only posts are not allowed.

So he had it pretty much all coming.
Then I asked "may I say dunce", and he gave the answer... hehe... that was hilarious :D

I know! It is going to be even funnier the second time around...

Actually, we're not all in this together. You make it sound like we are all good buddies siding with each other to gang up on you. I've had major disagreements, and even fights, with some of the other members that are on my side in this. You're just that awful that you've managed to bring everyone who cares to get involved in this against you.

There  have even been a few that stepped in willing to take your side, or at least the middle ground that we were both acting immaturely, but you wasted no time in convincing them they made a mistake.

You don't have everyone against you because we are some unbreakable team. You have everyone against you because you are just that much of an asshole.

What I rather meant was that YOU had just randomly found it on google.

That I had just randomly found it on google? I'm loving how you make a big fuss about people not reading your posts, or not reading all of your posts, or not paying attention, yet you seem to have serious trouble distinguishing one member from another.

It's okay, CP, it's fine to be small, no one worthy of your attention will judge you for that.

Hehehe, I missed this one.

Yes, I am a small, Asian midget, and am incredibly insecure about myself.

I was spoofing your own obsession with "little man syndrome", so maybe you shouldn't act all too sarcastic about it. Just sayin'.

Dude! I really am a midget of Asian decent who is extremely insecure. Would you back the fuck off and stop assuming everything is sarcasm!

Hm, seems like he doesn't care anyway. So then I'll do it, what the heck. (That means you have nothing more to look forward to, by the way.)

Yeah right, you're going to change it because you don't have the testicular fortitude not to do it.

But you're right, he doesn't seem to care, since he hasn't taken any action in this thread or in off topic.

Cannot wait for this

to come out tomorrow.

It'll be the first brand new book I've bought from a bookstore in an incredibly long time, simply because I don't want to wait for amazon to ship it to me and their release day shipping racked the price up to a few dollars over the cover price. At that point it just makes sense to drive a couple of block to Barnes & Noble. I owe them them rent anyway.

Like, because when someone's accusing me of confusing facts with opinions, and posts shitty flawed google graphics to support that, they're kinda misusing those terms... in the everyday language that is this board?

It's not a "google" graphic. Google didn't spawn the graphic. That very same graphic is in a 2nd grade reading text book. Do you suppose the publishers of this textbook found the graphic from google and put it in their book? Or do you suppose someone might have taken that graphic from a textbook and posted it online where it was found by a google search?

The definition of opinion which was covered by that graphic was "a view or judgment formed about something, not necessarily based on fact or knowledge" (from The Oxford English Dictionary, not some bullshit, iffy, dictionary website). It was a simple graphic meant to explain the basic differences between "fact" and "opinion" to grade school children. Just so there is no more confusion, the definition of fact being used in that graphic is "a thing that is indisputably the case" (also from The Oxford English Dictionary).

Examples:

(since the second grade method of teaching "fact" and "opinion" was a bit of a miss on you, let's try the method that seems to work with kindergarten or first grade)

*Pointing to a picture of a black puppy* I say, "The puppy is black"

Since the puppy is black, this is a fact. It is indisputable.

Now I say, "The puppy is cute"

While you or I may find the puppy to be very adorable, someone else may find it quite hideous. There is no real standard to define "cute", it can't be proven either way. Therefore this is an opinion.

Is Part 4 of anything ever good??

Dear twooffour,

"butthurt" is not a meme.

I knew it! It was too dumb of a term to have endeared itself to the collective conscious of the internet... Wait? Did I just call something too dumb for the internet? Hmm, I probably shouldn't do that... Nothing is too dumb for the internet, even Twooffour is on it.

Seems like a page ago someone said something about not responding to any of us parrots anymore. Who was it that said that? Obviously it wasn't Twooffour because he is still going at it with gusto.

Well I don't care about your fantasies,

No worries. My fantasies don't care about you either.

but, if Ah hayed to trahst mah goots, I'd say that "ass injured" is more like something a redneck would say.

Having had the misfortune of spending a period of time living among rednecks, I can say no, it really isn't.

Butthurt is a very common, and very cool, classic INTERNETS meme.

Huh, I guess I am a total n00b. I've honestly never heard "butthurt" before. Many of the rednecks I've worked with seem to have a habit of inserting the word "butt" into as many sentences as they can manage.

I am not much on the whole memes thing. Collective inside jokes shared among millions of people has never really struck my fancy, I think it is the boring non-conformist in me. As far as memes go, I guess a few of them are somewhat amusing, but I think this one needs to die a horrible death. It makes anyone who uses it sound like they should be in special education. I don't think any words that does that can be considered "very cool". Just because a bunch of ten year olds on the internet use it and find it funny, probably doesn't mean you should take it and run with it.

So then why do you say he.

I get easily confused when I am thinking about pretty girls.

Well, C3PX, his "problem" is so "obvious."  I mean, it's obvious to anyone who can hold water that, unlike what you told him, he just didn't read.

I know. That just makes it all the more fun.

butthurt

How would you feel about using the word "ass injured" instead of "butthurt" from now on?

Every time you use "butthurt" the accent for you in my head turns to a backwoods hillbilly accent or that of a squeaky shrill voiced 10 year old, and both of those really annoy me.

I think you'll find using cooler words gets you further in life too. Just sayin': might be a part of your vocabulary that you'd be better off leaving in middle school.
