Phew, I just spent the last couple of hours browsing through several pages of threads looking for what might have ticked Ripplin off at me, and I have come up with nothing. Oh well, I guess I will never know what I did. Maybe I ought to be more careful with my recent habit of posting under the influence...

That took place on the 16th, and my last post in this thread saying I still only had three people ignoring me was made the 15th, so the time frame is right. Ripplin is pretty close to that project, so I have no doubt it was something I said in there that got to him. I wasn't the only guy bar fighting with Fleetline, so I don't think it was the side I took. Probably had something to do with my level of crassness. Been hanging around Xbox Live's MW2 crowd too much lately perhaps. Damn. Oh well, at least now I am pretty sure (97.34% sure to be exact) that it was one of my posts in there that did it.

Sorry Rip. If you ever get around to reading this, I'd be happy to go back and edit and delete those posts if you asked me to.

Biff Tannen, if you are reading this, I think at the very least, Warbler is entitled to reason as to why you are ignoring him. You can't read his post, but he comes across to me like he wants to fix whatever your problem is. Just to be clear, I'm not trying to take sides here. I just think the least you could is talk it over with Warbler.

Of course, this doesn't do you any good, because Biff is ignoring me too. Uh, but it is the thought that counts, right?

Thanks. I'd really like to know why he is ignoring me, I feel bad if I offended or upset him somehow. He is someone I have a lot of respect for and have had positive interaction with in the past. But I also don't want to push it. Obviously he has me on ignore intentionally if he went through the trouble to click the box telling the system not to let me PM him.

Just tried to PM Ripplin, he does have my PMs blocked. He just put me on ignore within the last few days, but I cannot for the life of me think of any interactions I have had with him recently, let alone any that would offend him. Maybe he just got sick of my usual antics.

Never even considered watching either of the films.

Noticed a copy on a bookshelf at my sister's house when I was visiting her a few months back. Read a few chapters and thumbed around threw it for a bit. Man, absolutely awful stuff! It is almost literally 600 pages of lusting over an imaginary character. Lines like, "He walked into the cafeteria, looking more like a Greek god than anyone had a right to" run rampant throughout.

Me and my buddies call it "Female Vampire Porn".

Fink, kind of funny you act this way after getting on ABC for not respecting your wishes regarding what is posted in your thread.

I guess this is my line of thinking on the matter. Just for the sake of argument, let's use Warblers view on how to get to heaven, the whosoever believes thing.

So in order to be saved, someone has to believe Jesus is the son of God. Now let's take a look at a atheist homosexual. Whether or not homosexuals are saved by their belief in Christ wouldn't matter one bit, because this guy doesn't believe in God or Jesus. So how pointless is it for some believer who feels homosexuality is wrong to go to this guy and tell him he is going to hell because he is gay? He isn't going to be saved anyway, because he doesn't believe in your Jesus, which we are assuming saves us.

So yeah, let's take the fatalist perspective, religious beliefs are either correct or not. But at the same time, if those correct or incorrect beliefs exclude me from salvation already based on my beliefs or lack of, what does it matter how many various activities I take part in that may also have the potential to exclude me from salvation according to those beliefs?

I always prefer furry beavers. Beavers really should have at least some hair. Hairless beavers are just weird.

Huh, cool about the record store day thing, I'll definitely be hitting mine up today to see if they participate in it, and to see if I can't get my hands on a copy of Days of Future Past with the original mix. I found a copy of Whipped Cream and Other Delightes there for a few bucks a couple of weeks ago.

ABC, come on, you don't want to leave the off topic section and we don't want you to either. Let's just work this out.

I am fond of both of you guys, and consider myself an unbiased party to this situation.

The whole reason this thing between the two of you started in the first place was you, ABC, posting NSFW or potentially NSFW images in Fink's thread. And Fink asked rather nicely that you refrain from doing it in the future because he wants the thread to be safe for work. Since that point, you, ABC, have been the one who has had it out for Fink. I clearly explained to you the whole NSFW thing, and why it is important to many members here, and you said you understood. Yet, you continued to post NSFW images in Fink's thread, and continued to make it seem as though he was being too sensitive to images that were, clearly from your persepctive, not offensive at all. Since then you have made little digs at him for not enjoying the images, even though the real reason for him not wanting you to post them in his thread was clearly explained to you. Fink was pretty tolerant toward you at first, but you just kept going and going and going, so I am not in the least surprised that he is acting as he is acting now. He tried to travel the civil road, but with you it didn't get him anywhere.

I am not trying to defend Fink here, rather I am trying to put things into perspective for you. If you had stopped posting NSFW images and not resented him for asking you to stop posting them (indicated by the little digs you'd make at him from then on), then none of this would have happened. Fink is an easy guy to get along with.

Any way, I for one would be very sorry to see you leave the off topic section, and I really hope you stay. I really enjoy your posts and your jokes.

I'll definitely be looking for that one next time I drop by my record shop. Hmm, might even make a point to drop by there today.
