Oh, sorry. Guess you are referring to L4D2? But just think of all the wonderful times you will have with me and the O'fives killing zombies together?

I have quite a pile myself. I'd have a hard time passing up a good deal, then if I didn't like it as much as I thought I would, I'd hold on and try to force myself to get into it, I spent my money on it after all, no sense wasting it. Then finally I got over that attitude and decided just to forget about them or give them away if they were not doing it for me. So now I have Assassin's Creed, Perfect Dark Zero, Halo Wars, GTA IV, F.E.A.R., and probably one or two others sitting on my shelf with no intention of giving any of them any love. Maybe they will come in handy when the zombie outbreak comes and I will need something to do while barricaded safely away in my well fortified home. Or maybe I can find someone to give them away to sometime who will appreciate them more than me. Already gave away Turok, Mirror's Edge, Bioshock, and Fallout 3 this year. Feels good to cut down on the clutter and return to my minimalist roots.

The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai is 50% off on xbox live this week. It always looked kind of interesting to me, so I decided to read up on it, and in turn decided to dish out the 400 ms points for it. It is actually a lot of fun, quite pretty to look at, and very challenging even on the easier difficulties. I am really enjoying it. Ever since being blown away by Braid I have been a lot quicker to give games like this a chance.

Huh, interesting that you called it a sorry state, then you kind of defended the inaction. Not that I am complaining, I enjoy the fact that you are getting me to think about it more. It is just kind of confusing, as you seem to be both sympathetic to and condemning of the situation.

I've been to cities with homeless people lying around, and I have always been quite content to walk by. But if I saw blood pooling undernearth one of them, I'd be fast to do something about it. The article you posted mention that a guy actually poked at him for a bit, then moved on. That is just downright morbid if you ask me.

Not only in New York City, perhaps. I don't doubt it happens in other places. But stuff like that has long been known to happen in NYC. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kitty_Genovese

I have no idea what it is about that place, or why the people there have such a fear of "getting involved".

Both you and I seem to think there is something horribly wrong with it having happened, which leads me to believe both of us would have done something about it had we been in that situation. I know I would have. I also can't imagine you and I are all that special in this regard, so I am not giving up on mankind just yet. But yeah, it is pretty staggering that stuff like this can happen.

I don't think it is the sad state of humanity as a whole. Stuff like that happens in New York City all the time. It is ridiculous. A relative of mine who lives there fell and twisted her ankle on the sidewalk in the middle of the day when the streets were full of people. She couldn't get up and was surrounded by people walking past her. Imagine walking past a clean cut, well dressed, middle aged woman who is on the ground begging for someone to help her up, and just ignoring her. It is pretty sick, I have no idea what the hell is wrong with that place. She had to eventual crawl her way over the building and pull herself up.

I wish could see it or any movie with a with a girl :( :(

Oh man!, it's over-rated...Cost's a fortune, and they always hate it...Unless you see some god awful chick flick, then that really is a waste of money...

Stick to the inter-porn man, much cheaper.

It does cost a fortune, but its sofuckinworth it! Of course, with a little creativity you can come up with much better dates than a movie that she'll appreciate a lot more and will cost you about the same... unless she is some sort of deadbeat.

Anyway, no guy ever needs to wish for such things, he just has to get his feet wet and go find it.

That is exactly what your mom said to me last night, Fink.

See, when I say "don't even go there..." it implies that I already anticipated the joke, and therefore, your repetition of the joke is neither clever nor funny.

Get out of here, Umveg.

It got Warbler to say "ew", so I feel its launch was sucessful.

I respect the fact that he didn't even try. Costner with a fake British accent could have been pretty awful. What all didn't you like about the Hood staring Kevin Costner, Warb? I sense venom.

I'll never forget this conversation I had with this gorgeous English girl during one of my many global adventures.

ME: I am afraid I am not all that great at placing accents. Where in England are you from?
HER: Ay, I am from %(&&%.
ME: Wait, where? I didn't quite make that last bit out.
HER: (yelling) THERE WAS A RICH MAN FROM NOTTINGHAM WHO TRIED TO CROSS THE RIVER! WHAT A DOPE! HE TRIPPED ON A ROPE! NOW LOOK AT HIM SHIVER! Nottingham, I am from Nottingham.
ME: Ah, Nottingham.
