Why is it always the good ones?(To God) Oh, you bastards!
Chaltab, don't forget, Bush killed 3,000 servicemen in Iraq.
You monsters!(God and Republicans)

You are such an idiot!(To Remixerboss) Why is it always the good ones? Not to disrespect the poor girl but she made a choice. No sense in calling God a bastard over it, if you believe in God it seems like a pretty dangerous thing to do, if you don't believe in God then you just sound like an idiot cursing the wind. She chose to use heroin, and she ODed on it. Happens a lot. Intestingly there is a pretty sure way to prevent overdosing, don't dose at all.

I hate people who hate. What is the point in hating Republicans? The whole Republican vs. Democrat thing is a pile of crap and it is really ruining our country. Anything proposed by the Demos get opposed by the Republicans, and anything proposed by the Republicans gets opposed by the Democrats. It is so pointless. The person who says "I hate Republicans" is just as retarded and determental as the so called religious fanatics and gay haters. It is so black and white anymore it is rediculous. If you are for gay rights you are a Democrat, if you are against the murder of unborn unfants then you are a Republican. For one or two terms you have a Republican President, then for the next one or two terms you have a Democrat, then a Republican, then a Democrat. One ticks off the masses so they flock to the other. The next President will be a Democrat, 4 - 8 years from then it will be a Republican, and I am willing to bet money on that.

Yes, I hate what Politics in America has been reduced to.

I agree with how out of place those creatures seemed. What I found funny after reading the comic series is that it takes itself very seriously in comparison to the film. The only of the creatures you find in the graphic novel are the elephants and it is just one panel of them falling off the cliff. No Rhino, no orc guy in chains, no bomb throwers, no knife hands, no goat guy. And Xerxes is just a head taller than Leonidas, he is a big guy but you in no way get the impression he is a giant. Once this comes out on DVD I am considering making a edit that matches the book.

I beg to differ. I very much got the impression that Xerxes was a gigantic, larger-than-life god-man. And I haven't even seen the movie yet.

I didn't say he was a friken midgit in the graphic novel, just that he was only a head taller than Leonidas. In the graphic novel he seemed a realistic height, while in the movie he was unrealistically large.

Nobody should diss the graphic novel until they have read it. It is actually a pretty serious piece of work. Frank Miller had a passion for the subject and made a very enjoyable retelling of it. The giant wolf scene is the most fantastical part of the graphic novel IMHO. But giant wolves fit into mythology, knife-hands is just a lame looking CGI character added in for the heck of it. It feels like those parts were added to acknowledge that it is a comic book movie, but I felt they were unecessary and really did a great job of lowering the quality of the film.

Prove who wrong? Conservatives who may or may not believe in intelligent design? I would like to see you prove them wrong. So where is this proof that does the proving?

I think evolution from a single organism is just as silly as the idea of a being who has always existed deciding to one day to make a world full of life and to take seven days to do so. Ancient myth and scientific theory may be equally empty human ways of trying to answer an unanswerable question. Does man really believe he is so great that he can tell what happened millions of years ago when he cannot even tell what the weather will be like tomorrow?

Anyway Sean, what do you think about it? Why do you think that?

Return of the Jedi Remixer Boss Edition (* unfinished project *)

Doing fanedits for fame will never get you anywhere. Fanediting should be a labour of love. If you edit to make the movie you really want to see, then you are on the right track because you are going to make it as perfect as you can. If you are doing it merely for the sake of making a name for yourself within the community, then you are doing it for the wrong reason and the chances you make an edit others really want to see are slim. Do it for yourself foremost, then for others.

Dude stop being such a stooge. Nobody gives a crap if you leave or stay. And for all I know you are Zigfried, you certainly haven't shown your maturity level to be any greater than his.

It seems all you care about is attention, don't expect us to flock around you and constantly post on your pithy little fan editing project. If you notice something about the well known faneditors around here, they are people who have shown results. You have merely said you will do a fan edit and change certain things. We have responded saying it sounds interesting, go for it. What else do you want us to say? Once you start posting clips or making progress, then expect more feedback. We are here to give help and tips if you ask, we are here to possibly even encourage you, but we are not here so you can feel good about yourself and get a lot of attention. If you are going to keep threatening to leave, then do it because not a single one of us is going to shed a tear for you. If you really want to do this fanedit, then do it. If all you want is attention, then don't let the door hit your ass on the way out.

Makes you think about the difference between OT and PT Yoda, eh? He didn't use to be mad-ninja-master/green-monkey-with-lightsaber.

Yeah, it is amazing what a different perception of the great master people had back then.

Another old Star Wars game I just thought about last night, though it was not released by LucasGames/Arts (and that was rare back then), was Star Wars Chess. Pretty obscure game actually, I have only once seen it in store and I bought it then. It was pretty cheesy, but for a chess fan and a Star Wars fan it was a lot of fun. All the characters had battle sequences which were sometimes really lame and sometimes mildly amusing. I remember Threepio would always kill people by accident, and Yoda would always use the force to influence them to do something stupid, like telling a Stormtrooper his gun is backwards so that he shoots himself.

Then take up your mantle and resume your unofficial position! There are some of us who still believe this place to be great and that it can become greater still.

Oh, since this is the proper place for it, one hundred and five more posts till knighthood for me. At least I think. 1000 is Jedi Knight right? Or is it 1200?

Yeah, I don't see the premise being so flimsy. It was based on a real event and adapted from a comic book. Sure kicks the pants off crap like Troy and Alexander. It did a lot better of a job depicting Greeks than they did (Persians are way off though). I think it is funny how bad the reviews for this movie are compared to the crap load of money it is pulling in.

But the rest of us are, so I don't see the point in your comment. I am willing to bet the only thing you know about Silversurfer is the advert. for the second Fantastic Four film. Anyway, Spidey could whip his butt anyday. Surfer is just an illegal alien trying to make a name for himself.

Uh, nah, i don't care about superhero movies heh.

Bet all you want, but i've read quite a lot of silver surfer comics. My dad still has a whole bunch of 'em and that's how i got to read 'em.

Okay okay, some others are alright too, I quite liked the hulk. I'm more of a tales from the crypt/weird science/ moebius/Paul Gillon/sci fi comic kinda reader. And i still like to read a all the heavy metal magazines from the late 70s, early 80S. Some awesome sci from spain and holland.

edit: and spiderman is a wuss and im leaving this thread now since u guys are pretty serious hardcore crew lol

I wasn't trying to run you off. Just get annoyed with people who come into threads to start fights. Hopefully that was not your intent, you can forgive me for mistaking "most other super heros are incredibly lame " as having that intention.

Feel free to stick around, you are perfectly welcome in this thread, we are not a serious hardcore crew and we respect others opionions, we at this site as a whole are just a little troll weary. You can understand that I am sure, the internet swarms with them these days.

I once had a professor with what was VERY close to (but not entirely) a Chaplin/Hitler mustache. Somedays he would remind me of Hitler, and other days Chaplin. This leads me to believe that sort of mustache has a 50% percent chance of reminding any given person of Chaplin or a 50% chance of reminding them of Hitler. My theory goes on to assume the chances lean slighter more toward Chaplin if the person was in a good mood and slightly more toward Hitler if the person was in a dark mood, but I never attempted to test this theory, so it could be bunk. Yes, it was a boring class and I had plenty of time to think about these sort of things.

Idea: a Star Trek VI edit - Klingon blood from pink to red?
Time

Has anyone ever attempted to recolor the pink Klingon blood to be red? I think this would be a great edit. I would love to have that inaccuracy fixed. The blood was only ever made pink in the first place because of scene at the beginning was too violent and making it pink toned it down a bit.

Would this be a hard edit to do? Anybody interested in doing this? I do not have the time nor the skill myself, but it is an edit I would really love to see made someday if anybody is up to it.

Man, I want a castle that hovers over the water. I bet that would be all kinds of practical. Imagine no more JWs knocking on your door, or door to door sells men. And you wouldn't have to worry about having crappy neighbors. Living in a nice quaint house out in the country? HA! Gottcha beat! I live in a floating castle in the middle of the ocean!

My home feels inferior now...
