The other delected scene I would love to have my hands on is where Anakin kills Shak Ti. I really think we needed to see him fighting a few more Jedi. His turn had the potential for a great number of lightsaber fights.

Yes, Sean, keeping thinking that. That is what those commies want you to think...
What satanists have you known personally? And I am not talking about your high school 'I want to be different from everybody else, so I need to find a thing to make me cool' sort of fake satanists. Regardless of whatever wikipedia may say or other such internet sources, it can be some pretty creepy crap these people are after. I don't know how bad I think they are for them to be not as bad as I think, but anywho who pursues that sort of stuff isn't someone I want to be hanging around.

That title would actually make about as much sense as Gore's film. Perhaps even less. It could talk about Hilary Clinton being one of the anti-Christs. That would be kind of cool.

Yeah, Rob's post are really getting to be too much. Back when he was calling every thread gay he was bearable, and he has relevant posts from time to time. But lately now you never know what you are going to see when you click on a thread. I was actually going to tell an old friend of mine about this place today, but decided against it when I remembered Rob's last few threads.

Haha! Yeah.
Hmm, I wonder if this will become a new thing on ebay, auctioning off lunch dates with yourself. If Ford can do it, I think the rest of us ought to be allowed to. If I put the most dashing picture of myself up I might just be able to sell, I wonder how much I could make per lunch...
Sadly, this could become the new online singles trend. You go to ebay and rent some hot guy or girl for a date. Find your true love today, and make money!

If you believe in the devil, which you would have to to see him as a neutral guy, because if you see him as purely mythological that makes him an invented character with a purpose which is to be evil. It is funny to hear you talk about wanting scientific findings then to mention the devil being an okay guy in the same sentence. If the devil is real, what is to say he cannot posses (or give orders for other demonic forces to posses) people?
I am by no means superstitious, I am a pretty skeptical guy. There are even times I have a hard time believeing in God, and when I hear people talk about having their life rescued at the last minute by an angel who poped up for a mere second, or about somebody being possessed by an evil spirit my tendancy is to want to laugh out loud. I don't take things lightly and believe all I am told. But there are things I have seen myself, and things that have been witnessed by very close friends of mine. Friends who I have been in life and death situations with and trust wholeheartedly with my very life. These things are qute unexplainable by science, things that make it very hard for me not to believe in God, or at the very least supernatural forces of some kind.
And not to go all Greek on you and all, but I found this quote funny,
"An idiot for my own beliefs?" funny because the Koine Greek word "idios", which is were we get the word "idiot" means, one's own, belonging to one, personal, one's own way, one's own self. When used as an insult or accusation, it is accusing one of being stuck in their own ways. Close minded and uninterested in enlightenment. Anyway, just thought that quote was funny, since ones own beliefs is very closely related to the root of this word.
"I think the forums would be a lot better off without both you and Rob."
I highly disagree with this ^, though Rob is pretty annoying with posting half naked men on everythread. He would be an okay guy if he wasn't doing that and always pretending to be gay for the sake of attention. But as for Sean, I enjoy having him around, he brings some much needed diversity to these boards and he keeps things lively. The whole conservative - liberal thing he has going on is a little extreme though, but he is not the only one around here guilty of this. Life is not a chess match. It is not always us verses them. You can't categorize the world into two categories. The reason why the terms conservative and liberal are so common use in our society is that everybody has a hard time thinking on their own. They would rather let somebody else do the thinking for them, they also like to have options in this. In the end they just lean to the side that they like the sound of the most or fits their upbringing the best. Thinking is important. Anybody who thinks for themselves is bound to find some good things in both the liberals side and the conservative side, that fact that it so often goes everything or nothing is a pretty good indicator not enough people are thinking on their own. The fact that you have people who say the other news channels are crap and Fox News is the only reliable one and others who claim Fox is the most biased pile of tripe and that if you want to know anything you have to watch CNN or MSNBC, proves this. We are relying on others for our data, instead of going out and finding it on our own. We are all being told what to think, and part of that which we are told to believe is that the liberals/conservatives don't think for themselves, but our side does. Stalemate.

Yeah, I hate how there are so many illegal gun seller just there selling arms at comic cons. Really erks me. The FBI comes in all the time and takes all their arms, cuffs the guys and take them away only to release them 30 minutes later so they can go to their storage units, pick up a couple more boxes of illegal guns and be back at the comic con the next day. Crazy stuff.
On a serious note, black market arms are not such an easy thing to crack down on. Both parties in such a transaction have a pretty good motivation for keeping their mouths shut, and it is not a game you play lightly. It isn't drugs, anybody buying a gun on the black market probably has a reason for not buying it legally.
Gun shows are something else however. I have often heard claims that it is really easy to get firearms at these things, but never having been to one myself I can't really say anything about that. Only that all the people I know who frequent gun shows says that this is a bunch of BS. On top of that, I don't think there was a single one of these rampages where it turned out the gun was obtained from a gun show, if that is in fact true then I would say gun shows are not as big of an evil as I often hear them portrayed.
EDIT: I like how there are airsoft gun banners are poping up because of our extreme usage of the word "gun"

That would be fun to win that auction just to bug him about Star Wars and Indiana Jones. I am surprised celebs do this sort of thing. You know some over obessed fan (most likely female) is going to sell their home just to have lunch with him. It is a good thing they run a check on you first. If I were him I would do things like this, but hand a million bucks over to one of my friends so they could snip it, then give me back the change. That way he could come off looking cool and generous and enviromentally friendly without risking any the above.

Yeah, but doesn't it suck that it has to be this way. I would love to hear a good deal more from people other than George concerning the creation of Empire and Jedi, but it seems we are always treated to interviews of Lucas proclaiming his story telling genius, while the other remain silent (probably not wanting to cause conflict with Lucas).

Yeah, I mean, who ever heard of a Korean who didn't play Counter Strike or StarCraft? That would be nutz!
Hmm, didn't mention finding a 360 in his room. I am not sure how relevant it would be if he did play games. I am willing to bet he did for two reasons
1) Most university students his age do, so the chances are pretty good
2) The whole duel gun thing. All my friends who are big gamers, it seems like the first time I take them to play paintball, they make some stupid comment asking if they can have two guns. Or the hold the dang thing side ways and shoot. But then again, this guy seems to have just wanted as many shots as he could get (but a .22, are you kidding? It is like he wanted to save money on ammo or something).
Also that package he sent to MSNBC is kind of the final nail in the disturbed coffin.

Someone, mentioned that if they banned guns people would still find ways to kill, then somebody else said that you couldn't kill that many people with any other weapon. That is a good point to a small degree. But what about explosives? I am no chemist, but from what I understand they are not too impossible to make with fairly easy to obtain material. That could do a good deal of damage, perhaps a could deal more than 32 dead. Even with a car you could probably nail a good deal a casualties in a very short and swift amount of time. Imagine plowing through an outside eating area of a resturant. Or a large line outside of a cinema. You could deal out a good amount of damage. I admit, 32 might be a bit of a challenge though. If you could get good with a bow, you might could take out a good deal in a short amount of time, much more stealthy than a gun aswell. I can shoot one pretty fast and pretty accurately myself, though I am not pro. I would have to admit 32 targets in that amount of time would be extremely hard. You could gas a dormitory while they are asleep. That would rack up a high death toll pretty quick.
My point is that the invention of the gun was by no means the invention of violence. By no means. Genocides have taken place long before the invention of the gun. Wars were fought, domestic desputes turned violent, people were murdered, all before the invention of the gun. Even if by some odd miracle guns were to cease to exist, people would still be killing people. Does anybody thing we might not ought to go to the source of the situation, people. Wouldn't that be more productive? I know that is what we have been talking about the whole time in here, and I was a big participant in, but doesn't anybody else find it annoying that things like this are used to springboard anti-gun campaigns? Before the blood is even cold we are singing out the evils that are guns and that it is all the fault of guns. Judging by some of the articles I have read, the kid doesn't sound like he was an great guy who one day just snapped, from the sounds of things this was a long time coming. As was McVeigh, and were the shooters in the Columbine case, as were the people involved in just about ever other case like this. Maybe this case is (should be) no more about guns than the incident of a man beating his co-worker to death with a hammer should be about hammers. Child molesters, what is our excuse there? I am sure banning guns would put a hault to that perversion.
Maybe we need to look out for our brothers a little bit better. America had a pretty distinct feel of "I am sorry, I don't have time for you!" that I haven't felt in any other country. I meet a lot of foreigners from all different parts of the sphere and one of the first things they always say about America is how cold and unpersonal we are. Something to think about.
EDIT: Holy crap I wrote a freaken long post. If you skip over my post for the sake of its lenght, please at least read the very last paragraph.
