Yeah, poor Abram's rep is really hurting right now... for some reason I am not worried about the guy. Almost every movie that comes out sucks, and the directors still find plenty of work. When Hollywood burns you is when you go over budget. As long as you make crappy movies within your rediculous $150 million dollar budget, then you are in good shape. Just ask Ridley Scott and Terry Gilliam. Two fantastic directors who were blacked marked by over budget. Don't worry about J.J., he'll be fine. And as far as the later seasons of Lost being drivel, I felt that about the first season, it was during season two when I started finding it interesting. It is a hell of a lot better than anything else you'll see on network television these days. Once Galactica finishes I might as well sell my TV.

I am no fan of the vampire genre, but this is one of my favorite books. My favorite aspect of it is the idea of being the last man alive, which is a really frightening idea. That is one thing I liked about the trailer, I loved the scenes of New York over grown with plant life.

I find it strange you ask that question when you would have clearly had to have read my first post to have read that I consider it perfect. Just in case you didn't quite get what I said, I shall quote myself. "It is a fairly short book, but impressively written and played out. From the opening line to the final words, this is one of the few books I consider perfect. Perhaps the one thing about it I did not like was the fact that it had to end, but on the other hand its brevity has a certian charm to it. When I first read this book it reminded me why I liked science fiction in the first place."
And obviously since I mentioned it being a sci-fi book and a vampire novel, yes, it does take a sci-fi turn but not by the end, by the very beginning. In fact it does not so much take a sci-fi turn as it actually is sci-fi through and though.
If you think I am exaggerating on how good this book is, take a peek at amazon.coms user reviews of the book, the vast majority of them are a full five stars. This book was written in the fifties and it for all practical purposes the father of the survival horror genre. As I said in my second post of this thread, it has influenced zombie/vampire films from Night of the Living Dead all the way to 28 Days Later. Its a good book.

Alright, now that a trailer has been released for the upcoming film, maybe there will be a little more discussion.
Low quality youtube version for people with extremely slow internet connections (such as I have in my current situation):

I am lucky I started watching the show late. I am still working my way through the first half of season two, I imagine by the time I make it to the end of season three it will be about time for season four to start airing.
Hmmm, no one got my topless Starbuck joke.

Seriously, I am sick of this place. I am tired of the lack of conversation. I am tired of talking to people who sometimes disagree with my political views (my views are the best, why would anybody disagree with me?). Tired of panzies thinking the PT are good movies. Tired of people not giving me much attention (hence the goodbye thread).
Anybody who wishes to follow me to my new forum (with my own new forum software, no wait required) at the url www.originalfaneditedfanedittrilogies.ru (<-- it was just cheaper in Russia).
Any of you crackers who don't follow me to my new thread... you suck and were never a good poster anyway! I have already decided that everybody who moves to my new forum will be labeled "the important people" and the rest of you will just be filler.
So, I guess this is it guys. Fairwell! Smell ya later losers!!!! HA HA HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA!!!
Uh, sorry about that. Zion, please don't club any baby seals.
Actually, for the next couple of months I won't be able to get to a computer very often, so my posts will be limited or possibly non existent during that time. Just thought I would let ever one know, rather than just blink out of existence. Also thought I would have a bit of fun while I was at it

Anyway guys, ferris, I appreciate what you do everyday man. WES, I appreciate what you dad does everyday. GhostAlpha, I appreciate your familiy member who is an officer, and I appreciate that you have decided to go into this line of work yourself.
I don't know any of you guys personally or your families, but I have known a decent number of police officers, and I know some of the sacrifices you and your families make. There is a lot of crap we as the general population don't have to go through thanks to Police Officers. If one happens to pull you over and give you a ticket, or arrest your brother for dealing drugs... well... get over it. No reason to hold a grudge.

Darth Plegis, the father of Palpatine
Palpatine, the father of Anakin Skywalker
Anakin Skywalker, the father of Luke, Leia and C-3PO Skywalker
Luke and Ledia Skywalker, the parents of Han Solo (NOTE: I have a very complicated theory of how this is possible, but it is far too complicated to explain here. To make a long story short let's just say that it involved a whole lot of alcohol and a time travel device...)
Han Solo, the father of Jacen, Jenia, and Anakin Solo, as well as Padme Nabre (<-- much like his mom and dad, in his younger days Han liked to use time travel to make sex more exciting. Again, this is just a theory, I have yet to run it by George, but I have no reason to doubt he will give it his Skywalker Ranch Stamp of Canonicity. So, don't be surprised if you find the officially licensed SW comic series Han Solo's Adventures in Time Travel in your local adult book store within the next couple of years).
Oh, and just in case anybody was wondering, The three Solo siblings went on to invent the astometric droid. Unfortunately, nobody liked them because they resembled garbage cans and had no voice boxes, with their only means of communication being annoying little beeping sounds. Only one of these droids was ever sold, before the Solos went bankrupt and had to sell the rest of their stock for scrap metal. The one droid that was sold, was sold to a group of pan-dimentional beings who lived outside of time and space. These beings were called the Znignies, who you may remember as the inventors of the Wookie™. The Znignies, who were known for their marketing skills, reverse engineered the astrometric droids, reproduced them in an abundance, and used their marketing magic to sell the things some hundred years before Jacen, Jenia or Anakin Solo were born (this, in order to avoid a potentially messy lawsuit). The things sold like hotcakes. Though it was not the intention of the Znignies, it just so happened that a hundred years before the Solo siblings were born, people thought beeping robots were quaint rather than annoying. As you can imagine, this helped sells considerably. In hindsight, one could say it is ashame the Solo children didn't use their father's time travel device (the very same one he used to conceive their long lost fourth sibling, who inccidently ended up being their grandmother as well), which was now just in a corner of the garage collecting dust, to go back in time one hundred years to sell their droids and become rich themselves.
So as you can see, the whole Universe is a very tiny place, revolving around the planet the farthest from the bright center of the universe, and a hand full of people, all starting with one man, named Darth Pegasus or Pleguis or something like it...

Whoa!! Words fail me. I like how everything in there is PT. Very appropriate. After all, the PT IS something to be proud of. I mean who makes movies that bad and still has people lining up to see it opening night. Most impressive.

Hmm, so X0 t-shirts and hats do exist. So, when are we going to be able to purchase them, or are they staying soley in the hands of the elite ones?

At anyrate, I don't think it is so good to post spoilers here, I think a good deal of the people here that watch like the surprises. If the bit you posted turns out to be true, it could be very annoying for them.
