FWIW, the original BTTF DVD set was actually mis-framed and the studio had to set up an exchange program to replace the discs.

Yeah, that was pretty bad, but that was a mastering flaw, and not part of the design. The BTTF DVD is still a great example of how to treat a classic series. I would love nothing more than to have all three Star Wars films in one simple package just like the BTTF set.
