STAR WARS: EP VI -RETURN OF THE JEDI "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - ** PRODUCTION HAS NOW RESTARTED **
Time

One thing that is very frustrating about some of George’s changes to the movies is how they are made in isolation, without concern for continuity between shots. For example, I get why he wanted Jabba’s palace door to look bigger, so that it’s more grand-looking, but he didn’t account for the interior shots where R2 and 3PO enter the palace. For the uninitiated, it would look like either the door suddenly got smaller, or the characters suddenly got bigger. Thankfully, Adywan is keeping the original shot.

Asking for a friend who is keen about Star Wars details.
"For ROTJ:R, could you please change the throne room layout to how it looks in TROS?
Most importantly, the wall with the door that leads to the wayfinder

Otherwise, it’s good to see this project is still going strong!
Thanks very much!

Based on those pics, I don’t think changing the throne room layout to how it appears in TROS is really necessary. It’s really the fault of the filmmakers for not having it match to how it was depicted in ROTJ.

They DID match it. I saw the documentary. I looked closer at one of the photos, and the secret door is meant to be underneath the stairs. The upper floor with the throne collapsed at some point. The only thing that would need to be changed is this:

STAR WARS: EP IV 2004 REVISITED ADYWAN *1080p HD VERSION NOW IN PRODUCTION

Four more questions, if you don’t mind, Ady.

Since the shot of the severed arm will have the original furry hand now, will it still have blood, or will it be cauterized like in Revisited SD?

Will the Blu-Ray audio be DTS-HD MA?

What kind of menu designs do you have in mind for the Blu-Rays?

Is the aspect ratio going to be 2.35:1, like the 2011 Blu-Rays, or 2.39:1, like the 2020 Blu-Rays?

Since Adywan is using the Rogue One matte for the Death Star laser tunnel, does that mean he’ll revert the Death Star plans back to having the dish in the center, like in Rogue One?

Are the Falcon targeting monitors in ANH:R HD going to be the same as the SD version, or will they revert back to the original version, since The Force Awakens shows them that way?

In Rogue One, when Jyn transmits the Death Star plans to Admiral Raddus, the plans are reminiscent of the original look of them shown in the original theatrical version of Star Wars (1977).

I know that, but in the SD version of ANH:R, which came out several years before Rogue One, Adywan redesigned the Death Star plans using the hologram from Attack of the Clones.
