Some more tweaks required.

Looks beautiful as-is.

However, the one (and only) thing I might change is remove the ships in the upper right corner. To me it looks like Vader is looking at them, as if he's annoyed that these tiny ships keep buzzing around in his face :)

What would have been cool, while at the same time avoiding the question of why Palpatine has a bottomless pit in his office, would be if Vader had picked up Luke's green saber and used it to cut down the Emperor, coming at him through a barrage of lightning through the sheer will to redeem himself and save Luke.

Not much different from the movie, but it would have been more impressive a feat than just tossing Palps over the rail.

Judging by the position of the actors, the railing looks to be about the height of Leia's nice little bum. I'd say that's high enough.

Lando's closer to the camera/farther from the rail, so it looks smaller compared to him.

By the way, amazing trailer! The "city in the clouds" shot is truly breathtaking in motion.

The lightsabers, as large as they are and whatnot, were very noticeable when they changed from green to blue to purple from shot to shot.

The buttons on Vader's chestplate, however, I never noticed or really looked at that closely.

But for all we know, it could change color depending on Vader's feelings. That's how the Emperor really knows what he's up to.

Hmmm... the button is green again... "Are you sure your feelings on this matter are clear, Lord Vader?"

It's exciting but also mildly troubling.

I doubt those at Lucasfilm spend much time watching Star Wars fan edits, so this shows just what sort of waves Revisited has made (hopefully good waves).

I wonder sometimes if Lucas himself has heard of it yet, and if so what his thoughts are. He should be proud that his films are highly regarded enough to have so much effort and time put into improving them. But at the same time, I worry that some of the higher-ups might become concerned that these are turning out better than the official versions.

^ Oh noes! It's Atlas-Jawa! ^

Within the film, it's never specifically shown or stated where the bridge is in relation to the rest of the ship. Therefore, I've never really thought or cared much about it and have no qualms with the current shot.

Perhaps they should have taken the films themselves into account when making these encyclopedias and whatnot. If anything, I say leave the shot alone and print yourselves a photoshopped page for the book that fits with the movie :P

He sounded definite about it, yet in ROTJ, he actually did return to Tattooine to save his friends from Jabba the Hutt.  "...I don't think I'll be coming back to this planet anyway," sounds better for him to say cause he's still has no intention of returning to the planet, but he's not as definite about it.

I believe Adywan stated that he changed that line simply because different countries got different mixes and that's the line he was used to hearing in the version he grew up with.

Personally, I like the "never coming back to this planet again" line more, but I can live with it either way. Events in ROTJ are irrelevent in this case because Luke has no idea any of that will happen, and at this moment he wants nothing more than to leave boring old Tatooine and never return. He is very definite in his intention to not come back.

Why would the empire need camo. They were not really expecting an attack. They were just standing around guarding the generator.

Actually, they were expecting an attack. It was the emperor who allowed the rebels to know the location of the shield generator, and an entire legion of his best troops awaited them. For this reason, I'm afraid the deflector shield was quite operational when Luke's friends arrived.

The DVD-9 (NTSC or PAL). Which one you get depends on region (USA/Canada = NTSC, real world = PAL) and whether you prefer jittery pulldown (NTSC) or smooth 25fps (PAL).

Well, being that I don't live in the real world, I have the NTSC version. But mine doesn't look jittery. It actually looks quite glorious.
