STAR WARS: EP IV 2004 <strong>REVISITED</strong> ADYWAN *<em>1080p HD VERSION NOW IN PRODUCTION</em>

It certainly isn't any more nitpicky than fixing the speed of the receding "STAR WARS" at the beginning, which has already been done.
Of course, if adywan doesn't do anything to the crawl I doubt it will ruin the movie for anyone. But with all the other stuff that's being tinkered with, why not fix that as well?

<Morpheus> It's what George Lucas might call "residual self image." </Morpheus>

But seriously, I think the only way Hayden at the end of ROTJ would have worked is if they would have had him replace Shaw in the unmasking scene too. Two actors playing the same character within the same 10 minutes just doesn't sit well with me.

2006 DVD OOT
Time
I'm satisfied enough with them.
They look lovely on my normal sized (25 inch) TV, much better than the laserdisc transfers I had before as far as overall detail.

The only problem I have is when viewed on my mom's huge bigscreen TV, some of the the Tatooine scenes in ANH and Hoth scenes in ESB have a distracting amount of what I'm assuming is film grain.

I never expected them to be perfect, but I was hoping for a cleaner transfer from a better source (and making them anamorphic wouldn't have hurt either)

Star Wars - The Vintage Edit (* unfinished project *)

I'm looking forward to seeing this, although the only thing that really bothers me on the 2004 DVD's is the lightsabers. Those should have just been completely redone by ILM back in '97. If I could just have my 2004 DVD's with fixed lightsabers, I'd be perfectly happy.

As for the official GOUT DVD's from 2006, they look fine on my 25 inch TV, but on my mom's huge widescreen TV the visual noise in the Tatooine and Hoth scenes stands out like a sore loser.
