Add tennis noises to Luke’s training on the Falcon.

RSB needs to have a gag like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rCgRfqY8dzw
^Yep 😄
That goes there : http://originaltrilogy.com/topic/The-Unofficial-Complete-REVISITED-SAGA-Ideas-and-Random-Discussion-Thread/id/14610
thank you!
Don’t thank me… We are all on the same team 😉
Team Negative1
To be honest some aspects would crossover quite well. The Gods for example could exist a long time ago in a galaxy far far away.
Micronauts would pop up there too.
In terms of story styles Guardians of the Galaxy is the same sort of space opera just more colourful than the OT a Naboo starfighter would fit into that film perfectly well.
Why not?
It’s not like anything is sacred anymore.
Remember Doctor Who is part of the Marvel multiverse as well so time travel, multiverse teleportation it’s all doable.
My sequel EU is Thrawn trilogy and Dark Empire. At the moment the only thing getting in the way of that co-existing with the ST is the name and exact number of the Solo kids. I can edit that in my head. I flicked through Shattered Empire yesterday and that could coexist with what happens in the Thrawn trilogy with ease.
I have lots of later sequel EU books but I really can’t find the time to read them.
Not enough minutes in a lifetime for me.
Rogue One is just another Prequel (same continuity different story thread).
Hopefully it will great and spawn other vaguely connected prequels so fan editors can rename them and make them their personal canonical prequels if they wish.
As long as the story is new and the characters are as good as the one’s in TFA I’ll be happy.
Anchorhead said:
I agree fully. What I removed had zero to do with the film.
Sorry I was quick off the draw with that response 😃
The thread should be about talking just about the film and opinions of the film with a bit of wiggle room.
I would suggest if we find ourselves repeatedly posting posts about posts or just mocking people for their opinions we just take take it to off topic where I won’t comment on it 😄
Don’t we already have a thread devoted to voicing disappointments with The Force Awakens? Yeah, I thought we did. Want to discuss problems and dislikes with it in this thread? - by all means. Want to thread-crap? - no.
We also have threads devoted to what we liked about the film, about the effects, about possible fan edit ideas etc so if we don’t talk about aspects covered by other threads here what’s this thread for?
It was inevitable that the two threads (spoiler and spoiler free) would split but personally I think as long as it’s on topic and within the rules people should be able to post with what their gut is telling them.
Jabba’s palace looks a bit like a plant pot so maybe someone could take photos of a garden and oversize everything so the slug is to scale, like James and the Giant Peach.
Glasgow or Edinburgh?
Oh shit, too far for me to go, Liverpool?
Thanks for the offer but if I were to drop everything and travel to Liverpool to see a film (which I have already seen albeit in a different format) with a friend I have yet to meet. I would be very out of pocket and probably diced and deep fried by him indoors 😄
Glasgow or Edinburgh?
For an SE I had no problem with that shot. It got rid of felt tip man too.
Really can’t find anyone wanting to go with me. I was joking about the bed linen… (if they were recently washed and wet, wet, wet I could pass it off as Marti Pillow)
It’s a sad thing when you can’t get anyone to go and see a Star Wars film in IMAX with you.
I’m thinking of dressing my bed linen in my spare clothes and drawing a face on my pillow just to create the impression of having someone willing to sit next to me. I shall call him Peter… Peter Cushion.

Surprised the SNL Kylo Ren Undercover Boss sketch hasn’t been posted yet.
I foresee this will come in handy in your future.
Shouldn’t this be in the merchandise board?
I wish people wouldn’t call instrumental pieces “songs”. Songs have lyrics.

Also Leia would have been giving the order to blow up the planet she was on and coordinating the attack on Starkiller at the same time?
Like Palpatine ‘inspecting’ the Death Star Leia knows she is safe, she trained both sets of combatants. Hubris of the Dark Side. Playing both sides of a war is as classic as a planet smashing globe thing with a weak spot at the end of a trench. Vader sensed the potential and taunted Luke with it. As Max Von said she is royalty so manifesting as a giant enthroned being fits the profile too.
What about Leia’s reaction shot when she feels Han die? Was that just to fool everyone in the room who had no idea what happened? I kind of like this idea but it seems unlikely.
She could be genuinely saddened but think it was necessary to make her son strong enough to rule at her side. Or she could be a better faker than Palpatine.
I was just going to hang out with the knights of Ken to pick up some power converters.
Presumably Leia was up for becoming an early pupil of Luke. Frustrated at the continued fragility of Galactic peace and already possessing a Skywalker choking streak she begins to dabble in the dark side in the hope of uniting the Galaxy under a strong leader. The deeper she dabbled the darker the path. Using the Snoke persona she turned her son when he joined Luke’s classes and he gathered a group around him who killed the other Jedi and to avoid having to kill his beloved sister and nephew Luke hid in shame and fear for the child he left behind. Using the Resistance and The First Order Leia has been trying to find her brother. That is why the partial map held by Renn and Leia is the same. SNOKE to Renn : I am your mother
It’s been mentioned twice by me alone ,the star killing bit not so much the ice machine so yeah you are probably right 😄
Dorothy, the tin woodsman, the cowardly lion and the scarecrow have an audience with Snoke.
