Hardly anyone notices Ripley dangling from ladder with an alien queen hanging from her ankle while the whole hanger of the Sulaco decompresses and the door is wide open to freezing space and all the perils of radiation etc. They don’t worry that we can hear the queen, Ripley, Bishop and Newt screaming despite the tagline of the first movie either.

There is a possibility of a Artoo/Threepio cameo… even a Leia cameo right at the very end of the piece.
I am reminded of the Skyhook sequence in the Radio drama.
You may get the glimpse of a white robe and a few out of focus droids as the contents of the tapes are transmitted ship to ship.

Sure, but I still think it’s weird that they choose to show it from that orientation. Also doesn’t that technically mean that we’re seeing the planet with the north pole facing down (relatively speaking)?
It’s a neat shot anyway, it just struck me as kinda odd.

It’s hard to fire down when your gun is pointing up… probably.

They have an article about General Arthritis (the disease not the Separatist leader) as seen from a Star Wars context : http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Arthritis so they haven’t entirely dropped the ball on this one. I look forward to when they just edit Wikipedia and Star Warsify it.

I remember there was a trailer for Star Wars… before Star Wars which was confusing for a seven year old. There was the long form trailer for CE3K too. With the experts telling us how based in reality the film about aliens freaking a single mother out by SPOILERS abducting her son with the aid of a vacuum cleaner SPOILERS was. I still have dreams about that film.

Ben cut the only arm Anakin had left. The remaining one is clearly mechanical.

You could blank out some of the references to Robocop himself by having Galaxian run as a loading screen game for Vader’s systems.
Tint it orange and you could use most of the sequence (not the arm bits though…Old Ben already set that ship on fire).

So what happened there then?

The only new ship we have seen on one side is a troop deployment ship and nowhere in the original trilogy do we see that side deploy troops from a ship. I could see it an hanger or something but it doesn’t make sense for it to appear in combat.
The only time troops are deployed is in ROTJ and that’s with an Imperial ship (the wrong kind but that’s a different fix).

If my recent brushes with the reaper and friends has told me anything the human heart and it’s capacity to heal is pretty amazing.
