Windows 10 Update Rollout
Time

I’m trying to make a compilation of fanedits for my cousin and being quite large files I have formatted my memory sticks to be exfat. I was given a Windows machine sometime ago (arrrrgh!) and while it recognised the sticks the first time and transplanted some files onto them when I plugged them in a second time they refuse to recognise them and keeps asking me if I want to format them. When I plug them into my mac I it sees the sticks immediately and plays the files.
I hate Windows but Windows 10 is even more evil than before, everytime I use the bloody thing I want to rage quit life (not entirely serious folks). I think I may have an allergy to windows as it makes me want to sneeze as well.

Really? I love it, personally.

This is one of the reasons why a revived PT is essential (whoever finally makes the thing). To be the visual backstory for the OT. All the beat up ships the rebels use were once state of the art republic ships. The beat up ships of the PT should be from even earlier ages. Seeing the Imperial ships as wrecks being salvaged in the ST carries the theme forward.

Mac's Wishlist Of Ideas/Suggestions For Improving RETURN OF THE JEDI

There is a chance of other editors gaining the momentum to make some additional changes. It is a shame these ideas aren’t on one of the other threads but it’s your thread. Getting your ideas out there is good for everyone interested in this sort of work, The StarKiller Ranch thread of old was full of fun ideas too.

As for those mourning the PTR, I firmly believe that Adywan was not your last hope. There are plenty of talented people on this forum and others who have been reworking the prequels for years.

There have been many, many PT edits some of which add a few new effects to get their reinterpretation of the stories across. There were a couple Ady style total reworkings started a while back but news of those has gone very cold (hopefully because the editors in question are too busy doing it to comment). It’s been a weird couple of weeks for me and perhaps I invested too much hope in the whole six part saga thing (for the second time in my life 😄 ). ROTJ:R and PT:R were the Ady projects that interested me the most. I’m grateful that at least one is still going to happen. But I will probably mourn the loss of the latter the most because of the possibilities it offered. Very few people will complain about major changes to the PT. The first two films were classics of any genre so people tend to get more tetchy about altering them. The gauntlet has been thrown hopefully someone will pick it up.
