One thing I would like to see in ANH and ROTJ would be droids like K-2SO walking around. I really like Rogue One and I like how that droid signalled how both sides of the Clones Wars had converged to become the Empire. Its a nice design too. If only the prequel battle droids were that substantial.

I would just cut to Bail telling Ben Leia yas been kidnapped. And send him to sympathetic allies who help him break in to the Fortress.

It would have worked better if a Sandperson did attack and Reva saved Luke. I wish she had lost the saber in the previous episode. When Luke lights up his new saber in ANH wouldn’t he be all “wow that’s like that red one that crazy lady my Aunt and Uncle scared off had… I thought I dreamt it” otherwise the whole sequence is pointlessly distracting. The show is about Kenobi not some child torturing dudes and dudettes. It’s all making redemption very cheap.

Luke Skywalker: You fought in the Clone Wars?
Ben Kenobi: Yes, I was once a Jedi Knight the same as your father.
Luke Skywalker: I wish I’d known him.
Ben Kenobi: He was the best starpilot in the galaxy, and a cunning warrior. I understand you’ve become quite a good pilot yourself. And he was a good friend. Which reminds me, I have something here for you. You father wanted you to have this when you were old enough, but your uncle wouldn’t allow it. He feared you might follow old Obi-Wan on some damn fool idealistic crusade like your father did.
C-3PO: Sir, if you’ll not be needing me, I’ll close down for awhile.
Luke Skywalker: Sure, go ahead.

It had a few wonky scenes but generally I don’t get the negativity. It’s better than most of Return of the Jedi.

Forgive me if this has been suggested or tried before but in The Last Jedi when the resistance call for help instead of no response maybe the transmission from Palpatine could be heard. His puppet is lost he might feel strong enough to emerge after the recent destruction of the Republic Capital and Fleet. It would be the ultimate kick in the teeth for the resistance. And then in walks Luke. That way the Palpatine thing isnt just chucked in for the last part.

Have the same pan pipe band busking on every street corner.

I know it’s a bit wonky but the sparing sequences in Episode 5 of OB1 seem like a better introduction to adolescent Anakin than the elevator scene in AOTC. This show might be lacking in some ways but it and The Mandaloran might serve as additional material for PT edits.

At some point you could even consider removing the entire show 😂

There are some nice character moments but it does seem that much of the time Ben is looking for Leia, rescuing Leia, talking to Leia, losing Leia. In terms of condensing the story losing much of 2 and 3 makes sense. Getting Ben to go right to the fortress cuts out much of the padding added to the film story to turn it into a show.

You could remove most of episode 2 and 3 and have the kidnappers take Leia straight to the Spanish Inquisition. Cut the Vader vs Kenobi bit because the suit doesn’t fit and it looks like a fan film. Cut a lot of the in fighting with the Spanish Inquisition. I know the Empire like pitting the military against each other but these guys answer to a very difficult boss and it gets repetitive.

Superb. The younglings could make it to the council chamber along with Grogu and a supercut could be made. It fits into the scene so well. It really lifts it.

I have still to see anyone deepfake Tarkin in ROTS

Order 66 is a prosciutto, cappicola, pepperoni, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato and roasted peppers on a hero with fries to go.

Wow! That song synced to the lightsaber training moment works… surprisingly well. It sounds brand new but the key notes really drive at nostalgia in an effective way.

This was also the movie that introduced me to fan editing. I would be interested in checking this out!

It’s not a song. It doesn’t really fit a star wars movie in my view. It changes the scene so instead of fear Like shows awe and nostalgia but then it goes on a little too long. I would have ended just after the rock is cut and we see Luke’s expression.

As he has gone unremarked thus far…

I apologise if this has been suggested before but the unused Jejerrod material could be used as either a monitor screen playback or as audio only. It would be a shame to not have some character development on what turned out to be a very disappointing character.

One thing I’ve never seen fixed… When the Tantive is damaged and being dragged into the Devastator hanger we hear a physical scraping which I think is meant to be the docking claw. The actors react to it but then the next FX shot has the ship still being pulled into the hanger. It would be good if an FX shot was timed to those reactions showing the docking claw grasping the ship and maybe a hint of the boarding crew moving towards cutting through the door which happens almost immediately after. Or maybe just changing the sound to something electrical to suggest the tractor beam has them rather than a physical scraping sound.

A surviving Rogue One pilot would be a fine addition (someone not featured in ANH obviously). Maybe some grey skinned Mon Calamari.
