STAR WARS: EP V "REVISITED EDITION"ADYWAN - 12GB 1080p MP4 VERSION AVAILABLE NOW

Yeah I think sunset is much better, it helps with the mood "everyone's arrived and tired, they have to go to sleep and thave heir adventures in Cloud City begin on the next day".

And as for the original shot of the Falcon's approach it's one of these shots you can't replace I think, I'd personally prefer to continue seeing Cloud City in the distance for its 1st appearance rather than a clse-up right in your face, it's less subtle IMHO. And it's a real good shot, even today :)

I personally don't think this would be a good idea, I don't like the principle of reusing cues from other SW films to put them into another one (this is why I have the Purist version of ANH): look at AOTC and ROTS, it just sucks how they copy-pasted the music from TPM ><

And what would be the point exactly? I mean think the music just works fine as it is IMO, and where could the Force Theme be put during the battle?

I didn't mean to sound rude at all (sorry if I did, my English sucks at times :P), it's just that I didn't like the principle of added music in ANH:R (even if Ady had his reasons, which I don't discuss) :)

PS: "Goodbye Old Friend" IS epic yes, but the fact is where could this be put into one the OT movies?

Do the green screens need to be real studio green screens? Wouldn't painted cardboard work? :p

It's gotta be a special paint to make a real greenscreen, and it's not cheap...

I ordered a (small) greenscreen made out of cloth from Pinnacle website 2 years ago (30€), but it's not very wide...

Wasn't that scene shot after principle photography simply because it was an FX shot?

Well I'm not sure, I had read in a dossier in the French official magazine that they almost forgot to shoot this scene, and that they shot it several months after, next to the Ranch. And so I noticed that the "glove" might have been added by ILM after (I know, it's not a big deal but anyway :P).

Hi there,

I've just watched the ROTJ pyre scene, and I don't know if it's just me or what but in the shot when the camera pans up, Luke's right hand was "painted" in black (this scene was shot months after principal shooting, so I guess they forgot to give Mark a glove), and it's kinda obvious (the contrast of the "glove" compared to the contrast of his clothes doesn't match). Sorry I don't have the DVD with me, so I can't post any pic.

There's one thing I'm not sure has been brought up before.

When Lando tells Lobot to put the Stormies in the security tower Lobot's lips move as if he is saying something but no sound comes out.

I quite like the idea of Lobot not speaking at all so it might be an idea to stablilise his lips so he doesn't make lip movements but if the footage isn't to be altered perhaps putting something in there might make it sit better.

If I remember correctly, in the French dub (which I could only watch at the time when I didn't have the DVD's) Lobot actually replies something to Lando, like "À vos ordres" ("As you wish"). Maybe he did say something in some other mix which didn't make the final DVD?

These are actually two shots: the first one is the one where we see Yoda walk (in an overhead shot) while saying to Obi that the Council gives him the rank of Jedi knight, and the second one is the first overhead shot (yes, again) during Qui-Gon's funeral, right after the establishing shot of the scene. He's on the left corner of the frame.

But won't the shot of the MF and Slave I fly-by be cut out if I remember(because it wasn't realistic at all)? In that case the original music could be restored as it originally was in the movie before the DVD (even in the SE VHS it was like the GOUT, the DVD screwed it all up).

Hey

Watching oh_riginal's (interesting) video, it reminded me something that bugged me with the DVD, yet I'm not too sure about it: I believe that in the DVD version the musical cue has been moved a bit earlier compared with the SE VHS or OUT version.

On the DVD, when Han says "Detach!", the music begins (see pic below).

But in my mind the piece had always begun a bit later, during the following shot (see pic below).

I don't know whether I'm hallucinating or not, so has anyone noticed that?

I don't know if anyone noticed this post of mine on page 350, among the furious debate of the Falcon holo :D
