It's weird, look at the Art of Attack of the Clones book. Or even look at that first teaser trailer that had no dialogue. I want to see THAT MOVIE, whatever it is! looks like it could really be...something. What, I don't know. Something just gets fumbled right around the 20 yard line.
I would flip out if they finally made Milius' KING CONAN. Arnold's current age is so perfect too. And it's one of the few roles he can play where his current problems (and the entire women audience hating him) wouldn't really matter. They need to find a cool director that "gets" Milius' style. That's going to be hard, all the current guys are such computer weenies.

Yeah the last dvd version is being phased out. Luckily I was enough of a mark to buy that shit twice ('04 and '06) so I'm set for awhile.

Wow I had no idea the TFN people knew so much of the movie ahead of time, it sucks that place is sort of an unofficial arm of LFL, it's really gross and creepy and I definitely consider the devout moonies there part of the problem. I actually wouldn't mind having a real argument but I can't log in anymore, and they censor that stuff anyway.

I think THX1138 would have sold better with both versions and it still didn't matter to him. People buying/not buying this thing won't affect him unless it was millions, enough to make this box a flop, which won't happen.

It never occurred to me before to have a "personal canon", but I guess now you have to if you want to stay interested at all, since no one can be into everything. So: the original version trilogy, the Daley Han Solo, any Marvels that weren't directly contradicted by EMPIRE/JEDI, the Zahn trilogy and DARK EMPIRE. Pretty much anything that pre-dates the sweatshop factory mentality. (I guess the prequels too, what the hell. Only because, since at least 1979 they were on the horizon somewhere and don't exist purely because of board meetings. Sort of.)
